I know this is off topic but tonight I watched a very good movie. I suggest you pull it up on Netflix and consider watching it.
All the Kings Men is or was a movie made about politics in Louisiana in the early 1950's. Starring Sean Penn, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, James Gandolfini, and Anthony Perkins. It involves a poor politician who ran for governor by promising to the poor: roads, schools, and other things while the states wealthy citizens and Standard Oil company didn't want to pay for a damn thing. It's interesting to get a view of money and politics in the south. I found it very enjoyable and I think you may as well.
It was interesting how classes of people can live without any thought about the other half of a state. Even those with money can have a past worth taking a closer look at.
