I did not watch it; looked at an better movie on Netflix. However I saw some exerts this morning on MSNBC. I'm kind of shocked that he took over all of a sudden 90% of the Democratic points, like equal pay for women, decent wages, maternal leave, healthcare, child care, you name it. His daughter even went further. What is going on here? If you can't fight them, join them?

If he can sell that, what will Hillary do?

    Comments.

Dutch, Mr. Trump has not only been saying these things all along but has acted on them in the many companies that he owns, all you had to do was listen instead of hating so much.

I hate to break it to you, but this just isn't true.

Trump does offer a generous benefits package to his full time employees, but the vast majority of his employees are either contractors or part-time workers and don't qualify for any benefits at all.

So maybe you should stop accusing Dutch of "hating so much" and actually do some research that doesn't include Fox News or the conservative blogosphere.

I watched the entire excruciating hour plus long speech and I can pretty much guarantee you he didn't spend more than 20 seconds talking about any of these things. The vast (and I mean VAST) majority of his speech was either stretching the truth or outright lying about immigration, crime, terrorism, and other things meant to scare the shit out of his brain dead supporters.

If any so called expert on cable news claimed that he was adapting Democratic talking points then they must have watched a different speech than I did.

He may spew populist rhetoric but once safely ensconced in the (finally, again in the small minds of racists) "white" house such things will vanish, to borrow from shawshank redemption, like a fart in the wind.

Like I said I saw only part of it the next day; mostly what Ivanka said, which was much more copied from Democratic socialistic points.

I hate to break it you that quite a few Companies including Trumps , that have part-time workers do not provide benefits, which is a normal company policy but the discussion was about his full time workers, I worked part time for a hospital, a Quaker Hospital, and you can't be more than liberal than that, and they didn't pay any benefits,as a matter of fact the Government allows for employers to pay very little or none at all towards benefits for part timers under 30 hours or less.

And that is what I was pointing out. You praised the Trumpster for giving benefits to his workers like it was something we should all praise him for. You didn't say a thing about full or part time workers.

Anyone who works full time for a big company typically receives benefits. Praising Trump for giving some of his employees benefits is a little silly. Especially when the vast majority of his workers are part time or contracted out.
