Bernie would unite all. Why take a chance with Hillary when Bernie would win for sure. A Trump presidency will be your legacy.

Yeah, but that is the past and irreversible ; so bear with me and just accept that this country is going to get what they deserve.

Chet -- Do you really believe that Bernie Sanders would have been able to implement every one of his campaign proposals? Neither he nor Hillary Clinton will be able accomplish much of anything if Democrats cannot take back the House and win a 60 vote veto proof majority in the Senate. Much the same as the Republicans sabotaged the Obama presidency and never had to pay a penalty other than a Trump nomination, they will do exactly the same to either Sanders or Clinton.

Have you observed the "frothing of the mouth" crazies on exhibit at the Republican Convention? Many of these are elected members of Congress...consumed with hate.

Bernie would unite all? Says who? The 15,805,136 people who voted for Secretary Clinton in the primary?

Look. We get it. You don't like Hillary Clinton. But have no fear! Donald Trump also doesn't like Hillary, so you have someone to protest vote for if you want to. You might want to read up on some of his promises though. Oh, and you may want to read up on the dozens and dozens of times he has said a racist, sexist, anti-Semitic, and other crazy ass things before casting your protest vote though.

Just a heads up though--it will be people like you who would be responsible for President Trump; not rationally minded people who didn't throw a hissy fit because their favorite candidate didn't WIN the nomination.

Bernie supporters don't have to explain how President Sanders would accomplish anything because he will waive his magic wand and **poof** all of his promises will automatically become law, peace will come to the entire world, and every American will live happily ever after.

Sanders would deliver it all by raising our national debt by 25%. Chet, do you expect something amazing is going to happen next week and the 60% of dem voters will step aside and tell the 40% to just take over. I think you're a bit delusional. Just because crazy republicans are chanting crazy things doesn't mean that any majority of Americans will decide that it's the way to go. We know you hate Ms. Clinton. Your choices are to A. get over it and vote for the team, B. Jump onto the Trump train, or C. Throw your vote towards the other two choices. Problem is that there are not a lot of Libr., or green party members in government so those candidates would have no support from anywhere. It's America, you have choices to make.

Schmidt, At this point it is about keeping Trump out of the Whitehouse. It is obvious that Hillary doesn't know what to do. If she stays in it almost guarantees a Trump victory. If she abdicates it will guarantee a Bernie Victory. All Hillary does is build more support for Trump. I said earlier that the plaigergate would benefit Trump more than hurt him. And I said that because the Democratic Party Hierarchy doesn't have a clue. Perfect example is the Hail Mary to stump trump with the plaigergate. They don't understand who is supporting Trump. If Trump wins then it is solely Hillary's fault for not facing reality. Trump ridiculed a handicapped reporter and it didn't hurt him.

PS: If you want to solidify Trump's support attack the sorry excuse entitlement denying VP. Hillary best forget telling people how bad he is and start running that video clip where she giggled about killing Gaddafi. That will eat into Trump's support.

    Says who? You?

Just because you say something a million times doesn't make it true. That is unless you are the God I don't believe in and are trying to warn us all that we MUST vote for Bernie Sanders to save all of human civilization.

Are you the God I don't believe in? Are you Jesus preparing to sweep back down to earth and fulfill the promises (more so the horrors) made in the Revelation to John?!

Seriously man. You seem to be living in an entirely different universe. The world doesn't revolve around Pensacola, FL. There are millions of other Americans living in 49 other states who may have the audacity to disagree with every word that comes out of your mouth.

That's what you believe, but it doesn't make it true.

Millions more Democrats voted for Hillary in the primary. Hillary also received millions more votes in the Democratic primary than "The Donald" received in the Republican primary.

Facts matter Chet. Don't let your personal animosity towards Clinton convince you that Trump is on his way to a landslide victory come November. The electorate doesn't have enough angry white men to hand Donald a victory.

What on gods green earth are you talking about man? So you are suggesting that Hillary Clinton -- a candidate who earned well over 3 million MORE VOTES than Senator Sanders -- should just say "fuck it" and beg Bernie to be the actual nominee?

What world are you living in? Seriously...what world are you living in?

And did you say you would bet any amount of money that Trump wouldn't get the nomination or the presidency? What world were you living in when you said that?

No, I never said that. I said over and over that I would love nothing more than him being the nominee.

You might actually want to research what I have written before putting words in my mouth.

I've been around on this site a hell of a lot longer than you and am more than happy to back up my words.

Do you remember who said it? And I didn't put words in your mouth, I remember the conversation and asked if you said it?

You wrote "[w]hat world were you living in when you said that?" If that isn't putting words in my mouth than I don't know what is.

A lot of people have said that they were certain Donald Trump would never win the nomination, but I was not one of them. I saw from the very beginning that he had a very legitimate chance of winning the nomination and I said on multiple occasions that I wanted nothing more than for him to be the nominee because it would virtually guarantee a Democratic victory in 2016.

The conservative media has been in a white hot rage for the past eight years and then they feign surprise when Republican voters choose a racist fascist as their nominee? I'm sorry, but I saw the potential that Trump had to hijack the Republican Party and I am in no way surprised that he is now their nominee.

There aren't enough angry white men in this country to get Donald Trump the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win the Presidency. You can't ceaselessly attack one sex and every single race and expect to win. Maybe he could do that before women could vote and black people were forced to pass literacy tests, but not in this day and age.

This is not scientific however, for those who watch professional sports and consider placing a bet....... Usually the odds makers in Las Vegas are incredibly accurate in their predictions. If they say NY over LA by 12, it's usually crazy close.

This is just for fun but currently, those who place betting odds are also taking bets on the results. Below are predictions about presidential outcomes and VP outcomes. Sorry to break some hearts here but Mr. Sanders is getting less than 1% chance of being president and less than 1% chance of being the VP. An accepted fact for many but not yet understood by all.

These days I know that a huge number of persons in this country are just crazy. Predicting how it will evolve is something I don't think I could do. Luckily, Nate Silver has an excellent history of making sound predictions. He currently has Secretary Clinton in the lead. Various other odds makers seem to agree.

"And did you say you would bet any amount of money that Trump wouldn't get the nomination or the presidency? What world were you living in when you said that?"

I know it won't count that I predicated the query with a question so I apologize. And as far as who said they would bet any amount of money that Trump won't get the nomination or Presidency who said that. There was that statement and then somebody else commented also. Also do you know why I can't go back any further than June of this year (2016) to look at earlier posts I have made. It stops at June 2016 with no explanation.
