Lonely, regarding your previous post
A meme I just saw on Facebook said Hey MF'ers, just stay home. You have had practice like you did in the last election.

Lonely -- Yes I agree. Apathy is a big part of our American electorate. When I was knocking on doors to register (beg) unregistered voters to vote, I found some of them clueless, and was thinking maybe it was better that they don't vote. Still they were a minority of those I encountered. Another thing I noted when I was seeking young people to vote going to their registered address, many had moved. I wonder if that non-voting population is somewhat inflated by people not removing their names from the registrations when they move. I know how difficult it is for some County Clerk and Recorders to get these people removed. In Colorado it takes a while and is politically unpopular.
Some 30 million people move each year. Many re-register in their new state but forget to unregister in their old state.

Yes, I saw that guy on TV, must be an good guy, has a"white/orange" face and comb over and is an "business man"; I guess I'll vote for him.
That is how Trump got elected. Amen
The Party does not speak to many who are not in the NE or west coast. Yet they want to lead all. They assume too much. Politics is not just talking. It's also listening. "Listen, we're the better choice" is correct but it's still just talking. Not even trying to find any common ground is an arrogance that lost the last election. Listening is part of communication. Communication is essential.
Hillary Clinton got 2.9 million more votes. She is not the president. She placed 0 people on the Supreme court. She's not employed today. We need to reach out to everyone in a red state. Will we win them all over ? Hell No. If we convince 20% that we care and "are listening to their concerns", that's a significant difference. Enough ? Who knows.
The state of Wisconsin may have an alternative perspective on Bernie Sanders. He was well organized and very much in the lead. In the last 2 weeks that may have changed very much. Details are addressed in the attached article by Politico. It's being suggested that this could be a final chapter. Ohio hasn't yet voted.

Business Insider, April 8, 2020: Bernie Sanders drops out of the 2020 presidential race
It's over for him...
What a pleasant surprise. I was beginning to worry were were about to relive 2016 all over again.
My hope is that he will unequivocally get behind Biden and do everything he can to convince his die-hard supporters that it's in all of our interest to come together and defeat Donald in November.
