Unity in the GOP?

Right now the GOP is trying hard to get unity; Trump is visiting DC to talk to party heads and Paul Ryan to "smooth" things over. My feeling is that after this meeting "all is well" and more and more GOP senators will join in to approve Trump.

Once they have a majority and "peace" in the GOP (with the exception of only a few) then I'm afraid Trump will pull out all the "stops" to nail Hillary. He will certainly copy a few things from Bernie to get part of the "independent" people to vote for him.

So I think this "horse" race is not won by a long shot by the DNC candidates yet. Comments?

Correct Dutch! All these Republican assholes will be tripping over themselves in the next few weeks kissing up to him and that includes the smarmy Paul Ryan.

Make America Great again Vs Its as Good as it Gets -

Even people that have it good might be swayed for another serving. Hillary needs to Come out with "I see the light and I'm gonna make it gooder the right way". That will get through to 80% of the voters. No matter what anybody says or shows she can't defend the published and repeated "30 years of stagnant wages" and no more lower class kids ever going to college.

Trump has put his boxing cloves on, he feels that he's now free to insult the Clintons with the blessing of the GOP. He already had an "show" in Portland Oregon ( of course attended by Jared, ha ha) where he blasted Bill Clinton that he was just about impeached for his "womanizer" games etc. So the real "dirt" show has started much earlier than expected.

He actually spoke in Eugene, not Portland. I would definitely attend one of his events if he did make it to Portland though.

I'm sure the reason he hasn't come to Portland is because he knows the vast majority of people at any of his rallies there would actually be opposed to him and his candidacy and he would never go to a place like that because it wouldn't look good on tv. That's why he's avoiding Portland like the plague.
