John Boehner today when asked his opinion of Ted Cruz:

"Boehner made a face, drawing laughter from the crowd, and added “Lucifer in the flesh. I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.”

Life goes on in the Republican Party.

Guess what, this helped Trump a lot; he had even a bigger "mouth" after that; thus the "GOP" leaders who thought they had convinced him to act more professional, got shot down in a huge way. He only got even more "un-professional ; more like a Hitler attitude.

Dutch -- You are using the word "stupid" as a catch all for undesirable character traits. If I were to describe Carly Fiorina, I would use words and phrases like resentful, antagonistic, deceitful, insensitive, selfish, defensive, mean spirited, ruthless, revengeful, cold hearted, contemptuous, untrusting , dishonest, and non-team player. But certainly not stupid. She did not get to be CEO of HP by being stupid. Yes she didn't have all necessary skills to survive at the top of HP, but many of those shortcomings had to do with her people skills, the way she treated people for her own personal gain rather than her intellectual ability. She had reasonable business acumen, but relied too much on her own views rather than listening to her own people. She had the "gift of the gab" to help her rise to prominence, but once at the top her other shortcomings became evident.

Schmidt: In Dutch the word "stupid" has a broader meaning than here I guess; that's my handicap. Anyway I've had always the feeling that "Evilgelicals" have a mental "block" in their brains, like Carly. If you can't unravel "bibles" for what it really is or think beyond it, then it will hamper you in having a broad minded open view of things in your life as well job.

There is a big difference between Carly Fiorina and Sarah Palin. Carly is articulate and polished. Sarah Palin is inarticulate...cannot string a sentence together and jumps all over the place. Carly would be formidable in a debate of VPs if she ever got the chance.

Maybe, if they prepped the hell out of her. She has no experience at all which is the claim of the rw about Obama. Combined with the one term senator everyone hates and the end result would be a mess.
I agree with you, Schmidt. Miss Sarah leaves much to be desired. I notice Donald Trump hasn't been back on stage with her since her endorsement of him a few months ago.

Carly Fiorina will go down in history, but not the way she might have hoped. She now holds the title of "shortest serving Vice Presidential bid" in American history. I'm sure she and her family are so proud of this accomplishment :-P

I now think Ted Cruz choose Carly Fiorina as his VP just to keep Donald Trump from asking her to be his VP. Cruz had to know he wasn't going to be the nominee by the time he picked Carly. So, he knew neither of them were going anywhere. But it kept her away from Trump. Smart move.

    Huh?

Are you suggesting that Cruz chose Fiorina to ensure that she wouldn't jump on Trump's bandwagon? Why in the world would she submit herself to that?

Senator Cruz was trying to win the news cycle leading up to the Indiana primary. That's all. He wasn't coming up with some master plan to make sure Carly Fiorina would support him instead of Trump.
