What are some ways drones could be used to reduce crime?

I'm especially interested in ways that could be experimented first with a randomized experiment. This means using random assignment of high crime areas or police patrols for example to receive the intervention or to serve as "control group" that continues business as usual.

Well, I can think of about 50 locations that drones could bomb.....just in my surrounding community

L.A , I thought you were kidnapped and now lived in Hong Kong selling burrito's. What's wrong with your community; too many billionaires?

There was a case awhile ago concerning a police search by air for a fugitive and during the search found a an active weed garden, a search warrant was generated and the owners of the house were arrested and charged with various drug offenses, a subsequent hearing was held and it was determined that the Warrant was illegal because because the initial sighting was a violation of the privacy statues, it was held up in Appeals and the charges were dropped, now as for drones , do they need to have specific instructions as what to look for or will they be on a fishing expedition sort of like the "stop and frisk" programs, which have been struck down on Constitutional grounds?

This would seem to violate the 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendments in a variety of ways.

I really like my rights as a citizen and would fight tooth and nail against random drone patrols being able to spy on every person in the country.
