Politico: Sanders rally chant: 'She's a liar!'

"DES MOINES, Iowa — The room at Bernie Sanders' rally here turned ice cold when Hillary Clinton's speech took over the televisions here.

The crowd booed loudly at first, then cheered when the sound cut out. The sound soon returned and Clinton was drowned out by further boos when she said "I'm a progressive who gets things done."

It escalated from there: Chants of "She's a liar!" took over the room before the campaign just entirely shut off the stream, cutting away from MSNBC entirely."

    ---------------------------------------------------------

Many of the very young passionate Bernie Sanders supporters are ideologues. They have bought into the Sanders message that Clinton is part of the "establishment". Much like many of Obama's supporters in 2008, they are first time voters understanding very little about the governmental processes and what it takes to get legislation passed (or blocked). I watched last night as MSNBC "listened in" on some of their discussions as they caucused. I cringed.

I sense that many of them will only be in Sanders camp, and if he loses to Hillary, then they go back to their lives and will not participate in the election. I say this because I saw the same thing happen with Obama as I tried to reach young people in my canvassing for Obama in his second campaign. They were tuned out.

When they boo Hillary Clinton and chant "She's a liar" it tells me they will not be there for Hillary. Thoughts?

Schmidt, does it matter? Let's be honest; Hillary is indeed part of the old Washington "insiders" and is arrogant because of that. If those who boo her are just there to do that, I don't know. It is all part of the game and the circus. So I would not worry about it, the end game is still far away What do you like better Bernie or Cruz in the White House?

one has stated that one will support bernie unless he does not receive the nomination. if hillary receives the nomination the she will get my vote because of the impact of scotus appointments and the craziness of the republican party.

I wouldn't put too much weight into something like that. We easily forget how nasty the 2008 Democratic Primary got, but the vast majority of Hillary Supporters still voted for then Senator Obama. He wouldn't have won if they didn't show up. I think the same thing will happen in 2016. Whoever wins the Democratic Primary will have months to woo the other sides supporters.

Most liberals and left leaning people vote in general elections. If Trump or Cruz is the nominee then I would hope that even the most sour Bernie or Hillary supporter would realize that this nation would be absolutely screwed if they boycott the election. Can you imagine Cruz or Trump getting the chance to nominate three or more Supreme Court justices?! That thought alone will get even me to stump door to door for Hillary if she is the nominee.

As a Bernie Sanders supporter, I hope it don't come to that. The best hope for average Americans is Bernie Sanders. Why is it such a pie in the sky idea to have the same benefits that people in other countries have? However, I would take Clinton over Trump, Cruz or Rubio, but I believe a Bernie Sanders defeat would be a defeat for American democracy. After all, he is the only people's candidate.

The American people work hard and we are suppose to be living in the greatest country in the world, yet we have more working poor, one of the worse education systems, one of the most corrupt governments and ridiculous health care costs.

    Vote Bernie!

Yes your last line says it all; if you have no "money" you don't count; you are dirt in this country. And if you have a little money. they will make sure you will loose everything in no time. The primary "education system" here teaches you on how to rip off people, that is the national hobby here; that's why we have the most lawyers in the world, in order to screw it up even further.
