Trump visited Liberty University in order to prove that he loves "evangelicals". He made a statement that he has an excellent relationship with "God" and quoted something from the "bible" but mentioned the wrong chapter etc.

Anyway he is drinking tea everyday with "god" and "sleeps" with "it"; hallejuja, what a total fake in a fake "believers" country.

    According to Politico, Trump said:

"We're going to protect Christianity. I can say that. I don't have to be politically correct," he said. “Two Corinthians, 3:17, that’s the whole ballgame … is that the one you like?”

As Biblical scholars noted, his calling the verse "Two Corinthians" suggests a certain unfamiliarity with the Bible...period. Christians refer to the "Second Corinthians" not the "Two Corinthians". It would be like calling the Second Amendment of the Constitution as the No. 2 Amendment or the Two Amendment.

That mistake is perhaps worse for Trump's "Christian image" than misquoting a verse in the Bible. But who really cares?

Indeed I don't care, but this guy is a total fake and tries now to get the Iowa evangelicals to vote for him. The more I see of it the more I have to puke. May be I'm stupid, but does n't have this country a law of "separation of church and state"? It looks more and more that we are electing a certain church or something. Crazy!!!

The latest; Trump received an endorsement of Palin; this really shows that they both have no brains. Anyway Palin can invite him to her house so they both can see Russia from her window. What an awful "clown car".

The media is still infatuated with Sarah Palin. I watched part of her speech, and cringed with her every utterance. I had to turn the channel it was so nauseating. The channel I was watching her on: MSNBC. Sheesh!

Can you imagine her as vice president? They call her in Dutch a "fish wife" , but anyway Cruz got the endorsement of "Duck Dynasty" so Trump could not stay behind. I guess in the future we are forced to grow our beards and have "redneck" clothes and learn a new way to cook possum and Alaska reindeer.

What a country! Anybody can apparently run for the highest office. While Sarah Palin is still going thru her 2nd or 3rd adolescence, (apparently the Arctic "cold" preserves the flesh), she is disturbed by the news that her son is being arrested for beating up his girlfriend, while drunk, & waving a rifle at the cops. (But never fear, this is only 3 misdemeanors). I am sure that nobody ever serves a whole sentence, when their mother is the only "Mama Grizzly" who ever ran for Vice President.

This whole thing shows, where the "brains" are in this country; since McCain "invented" her he probably had "brain" damage as well; of course he can blame it on his capture in Vietnam and now we are still following his stupid brain wave. I always thought he was "mental" with a "warmonger" node in his GOP brain somewhere. How do people like that get into those positions? It is always in this country that they forget "cause" and "effect" as well "consequences" of any of their actions, What do they teach in schools here?

I just recently got on facebook. Tonight I saw an odd story about Donald Trumps father.... it's a bit controversial and the details were written a very long time ago. I'm not saying what may or may not be true but if it was on facebook it has hit the main stream.

Regardless of anything at all; no one seems to be able to undo Trumps climb in the polls. He can say the craziest things and only gains; invite crazy women and still gains. I just wonder with his big mouth if he can overpower either Hillary or Bernie.

I'm afraid things are moving in the wrong direction. If Bloomberg jumps in what will happen then? I think it is going to be a long hot summer before we know. In the meantime the stockmarket etc. is going to hell. What a country; never any "peace" or relaxation.

Trump talks like a lot of people talk. Everybody knows you talk one way in private and another way in public. Nobody knows why. Trump is calling the contradiction.

TJ -- Good article. I note that Donald Trump's father is named Fred. Wow, he reminds me of his namesake Fred Koch. Woody Guthrie has nailed him.
