I honestly don't know what the DNC was thinking when they picked a weekend evening for a debate. It makes absolutely no sense to have a debate on a night when the vast majority of Americans won't be tuning in because they are out enjoying their weekends.

Part of me thinks this is deliberate. What better way to anoint Secretary Clinton than make sure any of her opponents won't be able to reach a wide audience? I know that makes it sound like I'm saying there is some grand conspiracy by the DNC, but they had to know that a Saturday debate would draw far fewer viewers than a week night debate. And far fewer viewers will only help Secretary Clinton and not the lesser known Senator Sanders or Governor O'Malley.

I may be proven wrong and maybe they will draw large audience, but I have a feeling that this will be the least watched debate of the entire primary. That will only help one candidate at the expense of the other two.

Jared; I don't know if you noticed it, the most fun is at the GOP side, ask Schmidt and me, we never had so much fun. So as we already said at the beginning, let the clown car give its show; Hillary and Bernie can have a good nights rest; the clown car will destroy itself.

Jared -- Yes I agree it was a deliberate attempt by Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and the DNC to downplay the debate, which with fewer viewers to get Sanders or O'Malley's messages out, favors Hillary. Wasserman-Schultz is a strong Hillary supporter. I think it will backfire on them. It was a rather healthy debate on issues that are not talked about in Republican debates except for demagoging.

Unlike the Republican debates, this one will have low TV ratings. There is a reason that the networks do not schedule any of their main programs on a Saturday night...poor viewership. Everyone knows that including the DNC.

Schmidt, indeed that Wasserman woman is an arrogant self centered bitch from FL, I never liked her let alone her permanented hair. She thinks she knows it all, but does not.

These so called debates are not even even watching in my opinion. When Hillary debates whomever the a Republican choose as their stooge candidate I'll watch it just to see her make a fool out of them.

Bernie might be the best candidate of the bunch but he has no chance of becoming the nominee let alone president. All he can do is try to steer Hillary to the left and after she wins she will become Republican lite. No matter what, we don't have a chance.

I am a huge college football fan so I canceled my recordings of a couple of games to record it. I've not watched it yet. These debates are a clown show. Because I watch much football, I think debates should be on M - F

Suggestion for future debates.....When the candidates time is up.....turn off their microphone. Maybe then they might spend their 60 seconds staying on track. We now get a long campaign speech and maybe something related to an answer to a question.

Tony, who cares; look at what P.R. wrote; may be it is still a year before anything gets settled; thus be free to watch your games!!

Absolutely correct; well see over a year or so who's left. I'll go and mow the lawn!!
