With fewer people having more money it is harder to capitalize small. new and /or start up businesses . Having money to spare, the .001 are not into bargain hunting but looking for tried and proven returns. The market shows that. Fewer companies and shrinking but doing well. Start ups have to compete against running companies with proven good profit and cost margins. Chances are likely that small start ups will have a hard time capitalizing. The .001 money can be and apparently is more selective. The biggest fault of the income gap with the majority of the money at the top is limited spending. Put money into the hands of the millions of lower class and there will be a thriving economy. People at the top don't need anything and even if they did there is not enough of them to spend the country back into prosperity.
