Obama is about to announce the US will not approve the Keystone Pipeline across America. As much as I appreciate Canada, this package of toxicity is just what we do not need, require, or should adopt. Thank you for cooler heads with common sense. To the few hired by this Canadian enterprise, sorry, but please go get a real job with credible social improvement. Spreading this highly toxic oil, that we do not use, through the Midwest is begging the question, "who's running this country?".

Isn't this great news? I have been trying for years, to get more people on board to STOP the Keystone Pipe Line, and it seems that for some reason, they are holding back for a while. I HOPE they will stop it forever. They must have concrete for a skull, since it is so hard to reach them with any sensible logic. Pure Water to drink is vital to human health & survival, not to mention all the fish and animal species. They wanted to build that pipeline thru one of the most gigantic aquifers in the nation, and pollute all the water for several states. That means thousands of people, not to mention all their cattle or any other species, would die from lack of water. Is ANY amount of stupid oil worth it? Especially now, since oil prices are lower than ever. Obama did a good thing by fighting against the Pipeline, & all the Midwest people, plus all the Indian Tribes will be very grateful about that. Apparently, Republicans think that people & animals can drink tar sands OIL instead of water. It is probably all part of their insistence on being "against" all Science. You know, the earth is flat. And the moon is made of limburger cheese. So let's get out the wine jug, and drink a toast. Hooray --- the wicked Witch is dead!!!

Eternal, you disappoint me! Guess who owns a big portion of the Athabasca tar sands in Alberta? It is the Koch brothers who also fund the GOP candidates. Guess why they and the GOP wants that pipeline? Because Jesus (the JBS) told them so.

Wow, Dutch. That is something I did not know. So the Koch Bros own parts of Canada as well as the U.S. Govt. And they will enjoy shipping all their oil pollution down here to "pollute" all OUR USA water. Of course, it makes perfect sense.

When you think about it, Global Communism makes one "giant leap" forward, by causing this kind of turmoil, & helping to evaporate our natural resources. And Putin is starting to show his tendency toward domination lately on the world stage.

And here I was, beginning to enjoy looking at Putin without a shirt, rippling his muscles, while on horseback. (ha) I was beginning to think he had a nicer, kinder image. Boy, it just goes to show you. Never trust a half-naked man. Anywhere.

(Now I gotta go give my pony "WildFire" a tranquilizer --- she kinda liked that pretty white stallion he was riding on.)

Safe to say you walk everywhere?

If you really cared about the environment, you would realize the price of oil is too expensive for Canada to produce it. the US can become the country of origin. The pipeline can flow north letting the Canadians keep their oil sands in the ground and use less energy intense oil while creating US jobs.

What did you drink? Tar sands? Please ask your "gas" pump for advise.

the price of oil is too low to process so-called unconventional sources. why do you think fracking has dropped off? and, no, it wouldn't "create" american jobs.
