I don't like to use polling to determine a candidates place in the political races, but I am encouraged to watch as somebody who slowly climbs than overtakes the previous poll winner. Although there are numerous polls and there are numerous ways a Poll committee determines where they can get the most media at specific areas to poll. The Pollsters may be politically inclined (paid by political parties) to show numbers in a favored direction. One should evaluate polling by averaging, which gives a clearer picture, but we must be careful that even averaging can be swayed by a given Polling unit giving excessive numbers to one candidate over the other. Over time though, averaging can be continued to be used and it shows where one candidate is indeed climbing higher than the other candidates.

Hillary is that candidate that is emerging as clear winner of the polls the past week. May it be the proof of the GOP attacks, Hillary's smooth demeanor in debates, or the GOP lies and deceit in bringing down a Democratic platform. I believe we haven't seen Hillary's best, yet. Hillary is saving the best for the real 2016 presidential race. We haven't seen much of Hillary's agenda and the public is getting only a smile and wink at the moment of what's to come. Hillary is proving to be a master of running for an election and showing her cards at the appropriate times. Yet, Hillary in the latest polling is climbing and appearances are she has ran past Sanders. Sanders is being coached now to be more forceful and start attacking Hillary. Sanders political machine has determine he is loosing and must not loose any more ground because Hillary is steaming forward. It's fun to watch the antics of political races and see how an action results in a reaction.

The public is about too see "BAD Bernie" very soon and Hillary will continue to smile and wink as "BAD Bernie" struggles to regain momentum. "GOOD Bernie" is gone because he is loosing ground.

I am waiting to see the Hillary I believe she is and hear her agenda and Presidential goals of her ascension to the Oval Office. I will need to wait a little longer, because timing is everything and the Hillary machine has this all planned for when, where and how this will be announced. Maybe the public will see dribbles of information each speaking engagement or maybe we will see it all at once. Like a poker player, don't tip your hand until the right moment. There's advantage to holding off your message and that is measuring the public responses. Hillary already knows what ails Americans, but what illness will give Hillary the more votes. What little Hillary has given apparently is showing great rewards in the polls...........and more is to come.

According to the "news", Hillary is looking very good. Having done well at the testimony (Benghazi) she seems to have rebounded nicely.

I had a neighbor say "Can you imagine if we had a woman as our president" ? I said yes ! Then I replied 8 years ago you couldn't imagine having a black man as our president. I think those often unspoken thoughts are holding us back as a country.

I think that D Trump is a dumb ass. C'mon Iowa......get on the ball....what a jerk he is. He will continue to annoy me through the whole process.

BAD Bernie his risen to claim unfair being called a sexist by Hillary. She may have implied Bernie was sexist, but heck, a woman has a right to shout as much as she wants. What Hillary was shouting about during the debate was Gun Control. Hillary's claim about his voting record on Gun Control/Rights is on the record. Bernie opposed the Brady Bill (which passed) and Bernie favored a 2005 Bill giving gun manufacturers legal immunity from law suits. Bernie has championed rights for gun distribution and shops. So, it makes perfect sense for Hillary to raise her voice to a shout level during a debate and explain her disapproval of Bernie's record on Gun Control.

BAD Bernie is coming out because he's loosing support and see's Hillary as a ferocious adversary in a race to the presidency.

The public will see more BAD Bernie in the next debate. This sexist remark implied from Hilary, is just rhetoric in the heat of battle. You can bet Hilary will use this against Bernie, because BAD Bernie just mouthed off poorly to the public. Undoubtedly, Bernie's campaign group attempted to use an "BAD" call to gain an advantage and was successful to media dogs. The more intelligent voter will see it as it is, "yea, my wife is a shouter also". So what! Gender Bashing at it's best!

Looks like a kids birthday party; what are we electing? Arrogant lawyer types in pantsuits? Sky scraper rental experts? Sexists old men??? Two headed baby splitters? Holier than Jesus candidates? Family time baby sitting types? Abortion specialists? Nuke the "middle east" military nutheads? Or persons who give Northrop/Grumman another 100 billion or so for war toys? I'm shaking my old head; even Micky Mouse would be more suited for President.

I'm not one to put a tag of "Bad" on the front of any Democratic candidate...or attach any other demeaning remark such as pantsuits, sexist old men or making comparisons to Mickey Mouse. Or castigating President Obama as the "lesser of two evils." I have utmost respect for all three Democratic Party candidates, and will canvass for any of them door-to-door. I don't necessarily agree with them on every issue, and I don't expect them to be a perfect candidate...just one that is political savvy enough to out maneuver the Republicans on the issues that are most important to me.

Democrats do not need to throw rocks at Democrats. That's petty.

Schmidt, open your eyes ; sorry none of the candidates, Dems or GOP, are suited for the job; your utmost respect is kind of naïve; they are not unblemished Jesus types; but just human beings with all their faults; so don't get overboard and see things as they are. Bernie has the best credentials but has faults, like gun control and lots of other things which he has not sorted out; you must know by now what I think about Hillary as well. I guess you are forgetting I'm INDEPENDENT so I look at it from ALL angles. Thus sorry I absolutely see not one candidate who can save this country.

The reasons for a "BAD" label is the fact that Bernie the past several months has been pretty "vanilla" in his debate and public appearances. Bernie has also been the "NICE" guy, but all that is being seen now as Bernie is having to change tactics, which is why the "BAD" Bernie is coming out. In order for Bernie to take any attack forum in the pursuit of the 2016 election, the public has to see if Bernie has the brilliance and stamina of defending his agenda. The public is seeing on the Republican side the Carson melodrama, which is so pale from the other Republicans. Carson is like on some other planet and it appears is he (Carson) all there mentally. The media has depicted Carson as going to sleep or mouthing off something entirely weird. Bernie has spoke off-base very little, but he continues to defend some unpopular acts, such as voting against Gun Control. Bernie is opening his weak side for opponents, such as Hillary, to take advantage of him. Hillary sees easy prey in going after Bernie. So, in Bernie's defense for maintaining some resemblance of a campaign, "BAD" Bernie must come out. It's becoming more clear as we see more of Bernie and Hillary debating the issues. No more "Good" Bernie, it's going to be "BAD" Bernie from now on.

AMC -- I see where you are going. Still, maybe it's the word "bad" which has multiple connotations. I might have chosen a different word like maybe, Salty Ben or Brawling Ben or Combative Ben or Belligerent Ben as opposed to the Nice Guy image that he portrays. Bad is a word I associate with most Republicans.

Dutch -- I know you claim to be an Independent. That label encompasses almost anything...a "none of the above" box ticked which can mean "all over the map". Maybe that's you Dutch. But I agree...Democrat "no".

Spoken by someone who is true blue and who would tick "all of the above" when it comes to choosing Democrats. Choosing a Democrat is like choosing a beer. Some are better than others but I have never had a bad beer.

Schmidt; just read what I wrote in another thread with 11 pointers; maybe that will wake you up about this country. The arrogance prevails as an country, which thinks they can rule the world but does not accept things which other countries do better of which they can learn. As long as we continue this way it does not matter if Dem's or GOP rule. Sorry this country is getting worse by the day. Ask the Chinese (as well plenty of other countries) if they like our meddling.

    No wonder I'm Independent

I know I'm a little late to this discussion, but I think it's important for everyone to be reminded that Senator Hillary Clinton was 20 percentage points ahead of then Senator Barack Obama in all of the national opinion polls in November of 2007. How did that commanding lead work out for her then?

Opinion polls at this point in the race as are worthless as a three dollar bill.

Like my ROYALS, "You gotta believe! So, as it is in Hillary, "You gotta believe! Yes, it is still a long way and one thing I admire about Hillary's campaign..............she is starting slow and voters have not even had sufficient news from her on the platforms. Hillary has not begun to fight for her election. Maybe in late spring is when Hillary's campaign will be get going strong. I imagine voters will see tidbits of platform announcements, potential running mates, and cabinet prospects. As voters get closer to October 2016, Hillary will come out like my Royals in the late innings of MLB. Her bats will hit everything coming across the plate and her runs will come across home plate. Hillary's game is not over, she's just getting started!

You go girl.....................Hillary, our next President of the United States.
