Since you enjoy to ridicule people for whatever agenda you perceive, many of us will continue to use caution and not take arbitrary the legalization of marijuana. It is a drug, plain and simple. If you were so inclined to be more concerned for society, marijuana would not be your most important issue. Marijuana in no way will solve society's illness, but will more likely contribute to more mental illness as this plague intensifies, so say the studies in JAMA Psychiatry. I have no issue with your use of marijuana, but cease the foolish attempts to say it is America's cure for all.
Do you consider alcohol a problem that needs similar treatment?

Or guns or religion; they all create a certain mental sickness?

What's more dangerous ? Fox news will tell you it's getting all potted up. Facts and persons who don't drink 363 days a year will have a different opinion. Good video above.

Dutch, I have lived an empirical life. There are no sicknesses. That is just the way people are. They have no choice, just how it happens to be. The ones that are extremely radical get ostracized, penalized and terminated. Good riddance ! But they can't help it. I am sure that our sickness Democratic, is so judged.

Still the drug is marijuana and should be regulated accordingly. That fact will never go away.............still a drug and people "ARE" being messed up buy the use where some are "ADDICTED". AS for deaths from the use of marijuana it has already been documented from recreational use as contributing to death. Look at Germany's studies and try to learn something about a drug you should be cautious using. This is why "ONLY" medical professionals should be prescribing the use of marijuana and not some street side show or a wacked-out distributor. These people have "NO" concern for your health or life, they only have a greedy desire to sell you "DOPE". So, why do they call it "DOPE".........surely you can guess? Drugs in the hands of the unintelligent medically, should never be distributing drugs...........period!!!!!!! I will not compare marijuana to other drugs, such as alcohol. Marijuana does well for itself as a mind-altering drug. No reason to confuse the marijuana with some other persons problems with other drugs. Thank You Ohio for making sense and attempting to lead America to a society of well being. If you want marijuana, work with the Doctors.

Can you please provide proof of any deaths caused by a marijuana overdose? Good luck...

The German study you are referencing suggests that other factors contributed to the two deaths out of fifteen people they studied. One had an undetected heart condition and the other had a history of alcohol and drug use. So that pretty much negates your argument because the two people had preexisting conditions that likely contributed to their deaths.

The German Association for Drugs and Addiction and various organizations also strongly criticized the study for a myriad of reasons, especially because the supposed study only involved fifteen people. They also accused the German researchers of over exaggerating their claims and misleading the public.

I know more that a few people who find sex (and also politics) a mind altering drug.

I'm not a pot smoker, in fact I don't and never have smoked anything in my life (well, maybe I tried a joint or three) because I have breathing problems that smoke of any kind only makes worse . Having said that, many, if not most of my friends (the ones I have left at least) take a toke whenever and wherever they can with no obvious side effects or problems. I know a lot more people with an alcohol problem than a pot problem. Whenever my friends light up a joint they all go off in the corner alone to enjoy it and I refuse to spend any time at all around tobacco abusers.

Yes PR. you are right; indeed if you have lung problems then you should not inhale any foreign substances, may be a doctor prescribed inhaler, that's all. Even second hand smoke is dangerous also e-cigarettes( they can blow up!).
