    Jobs or purpose.

Jobs: Talking about making America Great is going to be laid on the backs of the middle class down. He has stated he is against raising wages. How is that going to make America Great? Simple. He used the wrong comparative adjective form of great. He is going to make America "greater". Greater for the people that already have it great. Once the middle class and down understand his plan he will be in trouble.

Purpose: Trumps success is his talent for seeing and getting the best for him. He will cut losses on a bad deal and move on. He will not have that luxury as president when it comes to entitlements and other subsidies. There are going to be cost absorbing problems that can't be denied. His past operational practice is to win or quit.

Trump himself may have underestimated the effect that his stump speeches have had on a base of followers that cannot think critically. He cannot pull himself out of the campaign as long as he has a solid lead in the polls. He is now mellowing some of his earlier "hate speech" that kick started his campaign, and that may improve his "negatives" in the polls.

His worse nightmare would be to suffer a humiliating defeat by Hillary Clinton. However, the election is over a year away, and he has lots of time to milk this for his personal benefit before he has to make a decision to stay or play.

I wondered why he would want to be President. I am thinking he might just want to prove that he could be President and then get out. Then for people that have it all there is one gift impossible to buy. Lifetime Secret Service protection. His motivation comes across to me to be the campaign. He has yet to say anything idealistic. A reason to get to be President to make a change. His lack of details about policy comes across to me as a lack of purpose to be President. I think he just wants to win. It may end up that he is President, but I think maybe for the wrong reason.

I just wonder if an elected President has a business, if it is then allowed to keep the business while being president; Something kind of strange if so and then to spent more time on making billions for yourself than to run the country? As well have the power to make backpocket "deals" from that position.

Dutch, It seems like and he has said nothing to offer. I would think that a person that makes such a drastic change in operations would be parading his reason for doing so. Politicians have their record to show their reason for public service. Can his businesses run without him? Those are the the reasons I question his purpose.
