I feel like the post is incredibly long overdue. But I am happy something drastic is finally being done about this extremely bad problem. I know the main issue it has taken so long is the scattered political issues with a full on assault. But I am wondering why Russia is stepping up so dramatically at this time.

My brain is so scattered with what ifs, how's, why's, and horrible news coverage now, that I don't really know what to expect from this. Is this a sign that Russia and (most likely) U.S. are finally going in and/or are targeting the areas we know they are at to take care of them for good? Or is this just a small show of power from Putin?

In other words, what should we expect tomorrow from this?

Video of the missiles launching if you're curious.

I think it's a show of power by Putin. He doesn't care as much about the Syrian people as he does about his own image.

It will only create a bigger mess and more death than before, as well more refugees running into Europe.

Just bombing and bombing by the US as well the Russians does not solve anything; it will become a inhabitable place were only rats live. As long as there is no diplomatic solution innocent people will be the one's who are duped not the leaders. But The US and Russia have seemingly plenty of money to spent to keep the war industry humming. Congratulations.

A huge bomb blast in Ankara killing 30 people and wounding plenty others. What does that mean? This bomb was either placed by ISIS or the Kurds. Turkey always wanted to stay out of this mess but got sucked in due to border clashes as well the mistake to let US fighters use their bases to bomb ISIS. So this middle east mess started by our hero Bush is only expanding. Include now he Russians, Iranians, the US a little Nato etc. If some more countries get involved it will soon expand to a mini world war. The US has stopped training "rebels" there was only one "guy" left but has cost us half a billion dollars; no problem I guess. We must be the most stupid country in the world spending millions a day to just bomb everything what moves in that region; why not let the others do that and fix things at "home" instead.
