The topic speaks for itself. I'm just wondering why this forum is silent on such a fantastic find in South Africa. Especially my good "god fearing" buddies in this forum.

Nothing to reply to L.A., if you extrapolate that back even further ,it appears that all life evolved from the sea , I just don't understand why the need to find this so-called missing link to validate our existence on the planet.

J.C. nothing "validates" our existence; we are still "animals" who are ruining this planet and ourselves until we are extinct; so who cares about validation anyway.

    JC

Again...I'm confused. No mention of our sea origins in the Lutheran opinion about our origins

Lutherans rely on Scriptures for guidance and learning, to your question about no mention of origins from the sea, in Gen 1: it stipulates all manner of creatures created were created for the sky, land and the sea, and according to Verse 27, He created man,

J.C. how many times I have to tell you that ALL writing is done only on this tiny globe by humans and trained monkeys. So just go on in believing what they wrote when they just learned to write thousands of years ago when the whole world consisted in their thinking of the middle east and was flat; as well had these scribblings translated and interpreted a millions of times. Science has proven things the way things are. You are not created, I know that for sure.

Incorrect.......he created man on the 6TH day.....INDEPENDENTLY.......which is not being part of the sea....along with those "creepy crawley things"

Man was given dominion over these sea creatures because he' so special.....And again....INDEPENDENT of all other souless ceatures.

you are now cherry picking, I never mentioned what particular day or number of day as to what t was created , in Gen: 1: it is described that all creatures were created, you believe in the theory of evolution, if you are looking for a debate on evolution , I am the wrong one to discuss that with. BTW man was given dominion over all, also what do you mean by independently ? are you trying to reference man as the only creature with a soul? If your answer is yes, what has that to do with your original post about the discovery of ancient bones of a humanoid creature , which seems to bolster the theory of evolution to those who adhere to that line thought, I do not believe in that theory.

Hey folks pay attention. Go shopping. Don't worry about the beginning. Worry about how it's going to end.

International Business Times: Is The World Going To End In September? Mormon Apocalypse 2015 Prediction Has People Stocking Up On Food

"Sales of freeze-dried food, flashlights, blankets and tents have soared in Utah in recent weeks as some Mormons have begun to prepare for the end of the world. The so-called preppers believe the world is ending this month based on biblical prophecies, the Hebrew calendar, an unstable economy, world politics and astronomical occurrences, the Salt Lake Tribune reported Sunday.

“There is a sense of urgency, like something is up. A lot of people are mentioning things about September, like a financial collapse," said customer service representative Ricardo Aranda at American Fork’s Thrive Life, which sells mostly freeze-dried food.

"The Mormon apocalypse believers claim the Jewish High Holy Days that began this week will trigger a financial crisis based on the United States’ “wickedness.” They predict the full moon Sept. 28 is the next sign the world is ending."

Now if we had Mitt Romney as president, the federal government could be taking action to prepare. September 28th is just two weeks away.

J.C. I wonder about you ; ever analyzed the millions of different living species on this globe? Even bacteria are living things. So why should something up there "create" all these things? Just for the fun of it? Humans are just one of these creatures, just flesh and bone. Some animals even behave better than humans. Then the next question comes up: Why are these species only found on this globe and not on millions of other planets ( at least we have not yet found living things like on earth there until now) Science will tell you that evolution can be the only thing i.e. you need certain environments for any living thing to sustain "living" or start "living". Like people won't last without oxygen. Living things like plants produce the oxygen so once that is ruined by people this will become a bare planet just like any planet around us. No "god" thing or anything else controls that; living things like us do. Due to that our environment is changing certain species adapt or become a new virus or bacteria. I believe absolutely nothing controls this earth except what's on it ; everything else is pure accidental; elements coming together.
