As reported this morning on "Breaking News, CNN", America has it's newest commissioned "lethal" nuclear submarine, USS John Warner. Reading the ship built in Norfolk, VA on it's many components (not all are reported, of course), shows this submarine is amazing. Additionally, it is reported that two more similar vessels are being constructed.

Adding the recent news on the F35 fighter success is also a Great Day for America and keeping America in line as a formable power in the world.

Now we just have to complement this success with promoting quality in our politics. Voting into America's highest offices people that can maintain the countries strengths and keep America out from war against nations. There is such a tactic called "deterrence" and if managed correctly can keep America out of pushing its weight around needlessly.

Having watching the new technological advances in new materials, space ventures and physics/science discovery, it is no surprise that America can continue its pace with being a dominant world power and maintain peace around the world. We just need to elect better politicians and not somebody who wants to go to war with a nation on the principles of oil, minerals and other resources, or playing toy soldiers with our great men and women of the military.

A Salute to those serving America.

Neither the flight of the f-35 nor the launching of this submarine constitutes a great day for America.

There are "pro's" about this, and there are "con's." First, we are spending way too much MONEY on all these military "toys" for the Pentagon & other neo-con's to play with. They don't worry about too many people without jobs, or the expense wasted on useless hardware to get us into more dangerous wars.

Anytime the Republicans have any choice, they want to waste money on the Military Industrial War Machine. It is totally useless, unless we want to wage war endlessly on any & every nation on the inhabitable Earth (BUT you NOTICE that all these war-mongering Republicans NEVER want to WEAR A UNIFORM & go over to FIGHT in those wars). NOPE. They want to EXTERMINATE all the young Americans who are just trying to get along, work a job, & stay alive.

In every case, whenever we have a new weapon, there is always suddenly an "excuse" to go use it. (Weapons create their own crisis point, to be used).

Absolutely right; what will be the next waste? Hitler did the same thing; guess on how that ended.

Very, very sick indeed, but yeah the US loves wars and uniforms, medals, dead soldiers, flags, etc. so did Hitler; he also built the first jet powered fighter as well "unsinkable" battleships. Shaking my old head. Furthermore I saw an article: The Pentagon is missing a billion dollars; who cares, more billions were lost in Iraq for bribes and in Afghanistan for corruption; transport of weapons losses and to make the leaders rich; which did cost much more than just a billion.

Salute to the one's who spent all this wasted money; I'm sure they are blessed by the devil.

Sick and disgusting for sure. And the fools that support this crap have no understanding how it has destroyed us rather than made us safer!

We are the biggest exporter of violence and greed the world has ever seen and it will haunt us forever!

The latest on the news: The US did spent 500 million on training of certain Syrian rebels to fight ISIS; all, these trained "'rebels" disappeared . A Hawaii-n representative in the government was kind of amazed that we have no stratigy whatsoever fighting ISIS. An other thing which came up; we are fighting and hitting the Kurds who helped us, but the Turks bombs them now ( they don't like them) because we have now "bases" in Turkey to launch our airstrikes against ISIS.

We will never learn; bless the American stupidity and total waste!!
