The foundation of a Republic is a rule of just laws that apply to all its citizens.
The last time America was a Republic was when one of its Presidents had to resign because he had broken the Republic's laws. That President was involved in a silly, bungled burglary.
After that tragedy the U.S. Governments employees and contractors increasingly over time began an assault on America's laws until a President and Vice President and their associates felt free to commit war crimes and human rights abuses and the financial community stole billions from the people each year and America's legal systems had become so corrupt and degenerate they refuse to prosecute the worst criminals in U.S. history and the result was that America lost its Republic.
