Thanks to the Senate vote, the NSA will cease collecting the phone records of Americans en masse. This is a terrible domestic spy program that has been going on since October of 2001. It has been a violation of civil and Constitutional liberties and it feels good knowing that the Senate got something right.

Yeah, it is not only that; if you ever searched for something on your computer then in no time all kind of adds show up about such products etc. So I wonder who else besides the NSA is watching you ; I guess it is not Jesus.

I am so excited about this. Seeing my home state Senator (Ron Wydan) team together with Senator Paul to kill this program was inspiring.

So many people in this country know nothing other than accepting that they are constantly being spied on. That changes the way we behave and changes how we look at our government. I hope that they don't find a way to rename the program and sneak it in to some defense spending bill or something, but we should be happy for now.

I was always wary of that big building in Utah, I think it's located in Utah, with all of the secrecy during the building and it's hush, hush mission regarding communications, I am finally glad that someone or a bunch of Senators woke up to the true nature of this building. and stopped them.
