    When it rains, it pours.

O'Reilly is a joke, but telling the truth has never been his forte. The craziest thing is that he has successfully convinced his loyal followers that this is just a political witch hunt by the liberal elite. He's very good at changing a conversation and attacking people instead of addressing any discrepancies in his work. If he was able to get through the sexual harassment scandal a that swirled around him a few years back, he will undoubtedly get through this. And really--when has Fox ever cared about any of their people telling the truth anyway?

Fox News will ride this out. They don't care what MSNBC or CNN or CBS or the New York Times says because their base watches nothing but Fox News. Their viewers love the in-your-face bully guy. And yes, facts have never mattered to Fox News so they will never give in now.

I have finally come to the conclusion that Fox News (& inhabitants) have a totally different DICTIONARY, & use a whole different LANGUAGE than us ordinary people. It seems that they often mean the direct OPPOSITE of its normal English meaning. Nobody has yet deciphered if the problem is in translation, or if it is done for the purpose of DECEIT. But since their primary topics are about POLITICS, then it may be assumed that the purpose is probably to LIE. A few years back, there was a popular book on the market, named: --- "COMMUNISTS: MASTERS of DECEIT.".

O'Reily is more of an entertainer though and not a reporter. Why give him such a hard time if he is just entertaining his fans?

For starters--these allegations stem from when he was a reporter, not an entertainer.

Then we must bring up the fact that he lampooned Brian Williams for journalistic malpractice while being guilty of doing the same exact thing. If he just kept his mouth shut about Williams then no one would care. He brought this on himself by feigning outrage at Williams while doing the same thing himself.

Yeah, I suppose there is no getting around that for him.

This exact thing is why O'Reilly is terrible for public discourse
