On ABC Sunday morning discussion; The GOP now all of a sudden are interested in helping the poor and the middle class; all candidates jumped onto that band wagon. Wow, They must have gotten lessons from the Pope on how to sell snake oil. I've never seen a worse bunch of hypocrites in my life. I just wonder if a tax increase of 50% or more on the super rich will be accepted by them to pay for the "poor". But I guess they forgot what McCain has in mind; all our money will go to never ending wars anyway; so nothing will be left for the poor or workers because there will be no infrastructure money either.
They better rename their party into "Chameleons United"

No reactions?; so everyone is happy with that? Thus it is great that the GOP gets votes from the lower classes because of promises? Wake up Democrats!!

Sorry Dutch--I meant to respond to this the other day.

I think we all know what this is. It's just Republicans trying to act like they care about the Middle-Class, but acting is all it is. Their policy stances speak for themselves. Trickle down economics has been widely debunked and that's the only thing they continue to put on the table. It's just a ploy to try to dupe the American electorate into thinking they actually care about them while continuing to propose policies that will only help the richest among us.

Now yr talking; however it is a shame that the uneducated idiots in the poor "bible" belt still fall for it; this is a huge percentage of the electorate.

You can thank Saint Reagan for starting the culture wars. There's a very specific reason why poor, southern Americans consistently vote against their better interest. There's also a very specific reason why the people who hate the government the most are the ones most dependent on its programs that helps keep food on their tables

This whole family belongs in jail; they are resposible for 6000 of our soldiers being killed for nothing; let alone the resulting mess in Iraq right now; a normal citizen would have gotten the death penalty for that. This Jeb guy is a "kinder garten" guy who can be manipulated in any direction by any lobbyist; that is what we need for sure; more weaklings who move with the current until they are stranded.

The point is this guy looks like a "grown up baby" Moma approved that he should run. Just like that old "cotton head" has n't done enough damage with her other warmonger kids. Her bedroom wall is way too small to list all the military "kids and Iraqi kids" who got killed via her sweet church going kids.
