I'm really hoping to see a big defensive performance by Seattle as that is always fun to watch. Been looking forward to this game for awhile. My prediction is that Patriots fans are going to feel deflated by halftime. :)

Going to have to agree. Rooting for the Seahawks. Pats need to be knocked down a peg.

I too am cheering for the Seahawks. However, a couple of key defensive players are going to be playing with serious injuries. That worries me a bit. If NE loses today, it will add fuel to the controversy about them playing with under inflated footballs. As L.A. said, if they lose today, it will be their third SB loss in a row. Not good for the legacy.

I have to root for the Seahawks only because I hate the Patriots, I'm hoping it'll be a close and competitive game, but hope to see Seattle come out on top.

Elaborate please..? What call are you referring to? Calls looked good to me. I was for neither team so no bias.

The play in question was the one that was called on the three yard line which called for a pass which was subsequently intercepted to end the game, the question was why pass when you have a big bruising back in M. Lynch who was averaging close to 4 yards a carry up to that point. That particular play that was called will be questioned and analyzed by all of the sports talking heads until something else in the sports world takes center stage, like the NFL Commissioner penalizing the Pats for the football fiasco known as "Deflate Gate", other wise this play will last until draft day.

Im a raider fan...no bias...the worst call to make is a pass in the middle of the field because the defense is crashing to the middle expecting a run...the patriots had basically accepted the loss ...they never attempted to stop the clock. You have 24 sec. 1 timeout and the strongest running back in football.. and pete calls for a slant over the middle...insane.

    Correction...THE 1 YARD LINE.
They preach this in pop warner football all the way up to high scool. Never throw the ball to the middle in the event of a deflection, tip, or interception. There were 8 guys in the box. Throw a fade to back of the end zone..qb sneak, toss right or left. Lynch is the size of a vending machine with 4,7 speed. He's a killer.
Pete carroll cost those guys big money tonight.....and now the seahawks will seperate because of the cap...all those guys on defense want big money now. That team will be dismantled.

    I'm a Raider fan....but damn...what pill to swallow

I just hope in this situation that someone in the front office doesn't demand someone's head, other than Coach Carrol's of course, it would probably be the OC's if that were the case, although in that situation if the OC did not confer with the head coach about which play to call or at least affirm the OC's decision, considering the Super Bowl title was on the line, maybe his head should roll.

Oh, gotcha. I thought he was saying a bad call on a play from a ref. Yeah, that was a horrible risk to take. And for zero reason.

The city of Boston was supposed to have a big rally for these bozos today but because of the 30+" of snow in the past few days they moved it to Wednesday. Now they are spending tons of money and time on clearing out the snow from Copley Sq. In the center of the city So they can have this foolish rally while the streets in the rest of the city are almost impassable and they have no place to dump the snow!

They couldn't wait for a several weeks till the weather improves or even Spring or a weekend, they have to do it ASAP, what a bunch of losers (both the fans and the phoney politicians) that all worship these useless dummies whose only value in life is the ability to throw, catch and run with a ball!

    Disgraceful!

PGR, if I have to write about all the foolish things in this country, then I would have created a new "bible" for sure. Like here in FL the industry dumps all their waste in lake Ockeshobee; then the "army" nuthead engineers dump it into the river which then polutes our beaches. The solution of our GOP leader is to dig another hole to fill that up as well, etc. Instead of giving the industries heavy fines and filter the water coming out of that lake. He got elected by getting huge sums from the sugar industry; reward: "no fines" just keep on poluting. This guy should be hung.
