Maybe that's too much to expect from the Supreme court. Sad day. Well at least things can continue the right way. It would have been nice to make it legal and official.
Welcome to the site. I appreciate your continued involvement. The Kardashian thing must have struck someone the wrong way. I don't know what it said though.

Given the fact I have noticed another post has also disappeared, I will just assume that any or all posts will be censored unless I see them posted after a couple of days. I would expect better from my Liberal bretheren, but the evidence speaks for itself. The post was from a Bill Maher video that can be googled if you are so inclined.

It's actually a little more complicated than that, Dutch.
The Supreme Court decided that they didn't need to intervene at this time because every Federal Court case has been ruled in the same way, which is that gay marriage bans in the states they oversee are unconstitutional. Since all of the courts were in agreement, the Supreme Court doesn't necessarily need to step in and play referee. They actually just gave the green light for gay marriages to go ahead in a handful of more states by doing nothing at all. Thirty states will now have gay marriages and more are undoubtedly to follow.
