You're absolutely correct about the fact the majority of the Republicans in this country favor the impeachment of Obama. According to a survey for CNN conducted by ORC International, 57% of registered Republicans favor impeachment, which is exactly the same percentage that a FOX "news" survey found:
More importantly, there actually ARE members of the House of Representative who favor impeachment. That list includes Representative Steve Scalise (the House Majority Whip) , Representative Steve King, Representative Michele Bachmann, Representative Steve Stockman, and Representative Louie Gohmert.
As confirmed by a recent column of The New York Times, the South Dakota Republican Party passed a resolution calling for impeachment at their annual convention this year, and it's possible that other states may do the same, even though impeachment proceedings can only be started at the Federal level by the House of Representatives.
The Tea Party branch of the Republican Party, of course, denies that it's true. This morning's column by Chip Wood (of the Personal Liberty Digest) is titled" Democrats Make Millions Lying About Impeachment":
Chip Wood IS correct about one thing, and that is the fact that talk of impeachment (and even the lawsuit against Obama) will be very good news for the Democratic Party during the mid-term elections.
