I wouldn't be surprised if Russia ends up taking the Ukraine. It's a very large piece of land.
Dutch, in closing....... I'm sorry for the innocent victims of all nationalities. May they rest in peace.
Like I said before you and Schmidt are fantastic real thinking persons; I've not seen any others on the site who did give any attention to this dramatic event and realize its impact it will have on the world, like you said. Thanks again, great message.

It has been already two weeks ago that this disaster took place; finally there is now (after waiting another 4 days) some access to the site.
At least about 80 bodies are still unaccounted for. Laying there for two weeks, it will be a horrible task to retrieve of whatever is left if any.
I'm a bit surprised by this happening, while they said before the area was mined. Probably a bunch of lies to ward off the investigation. For the rest I wonder if there will be enough "evidence" left for the team to make a solid case, that it indeed was a Russian made ground to air missile of the high altitude type.
The other thing is if they are allowed to remove the "personal" items of the victims or any pieces from the aircraft itself to be used for examination in a test lab. So the saga goes on and on. Up to the next happening in this world.

If it was any other nation, every single piece of wreckage would be gathered up and sent to a huge warehouse in the Netherlands or elsewhere to be examined in detail. In addition, the area would be combed for bodies over a wide search area using search dogs. I read where one body fell through the roof of a home. I wonder how far from the crash site that was.

The blast might have sent some bodies flying a long distance beyond the current perimeter of the main crash site. I don't think that some of the bodies were obliterated with the rocket. As I understand it, the missile was designed to blow up before impact with the plane, so that would suggest that the bodies were not obliterated by the blast. Maybe I'm wrong there...not a military person.

But I would expect that all the unaccounted for bodies must be there somewhere in the fields waiting to be found, and it should be our highest priority.

Yes you are right; the question is purely, which part of the cabin blew out first; also at "cruise" altitude, no one is in the seatbelts, so you get catapulled out of the plane because of the sudden decompression (the pressure of the inside of the plane is much higher than outside) also babies float down slower than adults; so indeed bodies likely ended up all over the place. Hopefully the decompression already knocked them out so they did not feel anything. However hitting the ground at enormous built up speed will make the internal parts just pulp. In the meantime likely rodents and maggots ruined these bodies even further, so it will be even more difficult to identify whatever is left.

The research team has got a dificult task; lots of sections are riddled with bullets; so one "Canadian" came with the idea that the plane was shot down from a fighter jet. I wonder about this guy; you should be able to analyse the caliber of the bullets; if Russian built planes had that caliber then further analyses will be needed before coming to a conclusion. It may be something the rebels did (as instructed by Moscow) to carry out on the wreckage, by providing them with a weapon with the same caliber. The Russians are masters in deceit.

The latest; a new shipment of body parts was sent to the Netherlands; they've now indentified that they have about 150 complete bodies; the rest are just pieces. On the crash site things do not look good; heavy fighting etc. The "team" only worked a couple of days of and on; so could gather some more personal belongings; Yesterday they said that this will be impossible to continue; so I guess they will stop with their investigation.
    A very sad result indeed.

Dutch Intellectuals Apologize to Putin for Lies on MH17, Syria, Ukraine...
    Wednesday, 27 August 2014

A letter sent by a prominent Dutch Professor to Russian president Vladimir Putin has attracted much media attention in Europe. The letter was written by Professor Cees Hamelink and signed by dozens of Dutch intellectuals and professors. Below is the letter in its entirety.

    Dear Mr. President Putin,

Please accept our apologies on behalf of a great many people here in the Netherlands for our Government and our Media. The facts concerning MH17 are twisted to defame you and your country.

We are powerless onlookers, as we witness how the Western Nations, led by the United States, accuse Russia of crimes they commit themselves more than anybody else. We reject the double standards that are used for Russia and the West. In our societies, sufficient evidence is required for a conviction. The way you and your Nation are convicted for 'crimes' without evidence, is ruthless and despicable.

In the Netherlands, there is also freedom of speech; I've never heard of this idiot or the others who agree with him. I absolute don't know what this guy wants to achieve. I consider it a huge crime to supply such weapons to "rebels" who shot that civilian plane down.
I think the Dutch government follows NATO rules andpolicies; not that of a "braindead" so called proffessor. I guess he must be a member of the Dutch communist party.

There is a silence in Western media about the crash of MH17, compare to the noise they made at original hours when MH17 was shot down when the evidence shows there were 30mm bullet holes on fuselage of MH17. The bullet couldn’t reach altitude of 32,000 feet from ground that’s common sense.

[quote] First Examination of Malaysian MH-17 Cockpit Photo Shows Ukraine Government Shot that Plane Down

    By Eric Zuesse 7/31/2014
On July 30th, a German pilot headlined at anderweltonline, "Shocking Analysis of the 'Shooting Down' of Malaysian MH17," and he provided the first public analysis of the photos that were available immediately after the disaster, of the plane's cockpit, and of a wing.

Be noticed it’s from a Germany pilot. German is one who suffered from Ukraine conflict.

[quote] MH17: Pockmarks look like from very, very heavy machine gun fire, says first OSCE monitor on-scene

The holes in the wreckage of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 are believed to have come from 30mm cannon fire.

KUALA LUMPUR: INTELLIGENCE analysts in the United States had already concluded that Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down by an air-to-air missile, and that the Ukrainian government had had something to do with it.

This corroborates an emerging theory postulated by local investigators that the Boeing 777-200 was crippled by an air-to-air missile and finished off with cannon fire from a fighter that had been shadowing it as it plummeted to earth.

Since the "rebels" were the first on that site; they may have shot those holes into it. Probably the Russians gave them a 30mm gun just to do that.
I doubt that once you have hit the plane with a surface to air missile which explodes just before it hits; then the pressurised plane will disintegrate very fast. So even if a jet tries to hit it it will be a multiple target of pieces flying/dropping all over the place; thus very difficult to hit that.
Sorry to say this whole investigation was doomed from the start; the evidence was compromised from the moment it was shot down. An "clean" inspection/research was and is impossible right now. I doubt if any guilty party will ever come forward.

The crashes of MH17 and MH370 serve for one purpose

US has locked two strategy enemies – Russia and China. Both are the threats to the dollar.

The tactic to deal with these two enemies is to weaken them by war.

China has conflicts with its neighbor countries. It has territory problem with Japan in East China Sea and with Vietnam and Philippine in South China Sea. China blames US standing at the side of these three countries. Malaysia has territory problem with China in South China Sea too but it keeps friendship with China. To push Malaysia to join the anti-China front in Asia, MH370 case was created. The mysterious disappearance of the passengers would create a long lasting demanding for the victims from China side because most victims were Chinese citizens. (That is why MH370 case was produced as a mysterious disappearance not an evident crash) Anyhow, China and Malaysia might have realized the plot and haven’t made it a crisis.

The Ukraine crisis started in February when a civil turmoil happened which caused the stepping down of pro-Russia President Yanukovych. The result is there is an upheaval in East Ukraine. Since Russia and Europe both have interest in Ukraine, a war between the two is easy to be ignited. The shooting down of MH17 was created as an ignition. MH17 was well selected – like MH370 – for its passengers. Most of victims in MH17 were Dutch. Holland is a major country of EU and NATO. If Holland is infuriated, the possibility of a covert war between EU and Russia in Ukraine is greatly increased.

I think US is the mastermind of the incidents of MH17 and MH370. The purpose is to push Russia and China into wars with their neighbor countries to weaken them.
