BTW, never posted the word { business} in regards to Bergdahl's decision to desert.
J.C. You asked me a question; I copied what you wrote; I never said that the guy did not desert, so I don't know what you want.
Dutch: maybe I am misreading you on this thread, am I correct that you believe he deserted? Also although I never posted that one of the reasons why he deserted was because of America having no business in Afghanistan, it seemed to me ,that you were attributing something to me that I didn't post, I agree with you on the notion that the US Army medical people are indeed attempting to "brainwash", I prefer the word scrub, his subsequent testimony or statements at his Courts-martial, in lieu of that ,they might declare him Mentally unfit to stand trial.

I did read my post and again I did not post that America had no business in Afghanistan, as matter of fact you were the one who mentioned that particular phrase in your posting, not me, I said he ( Bergdahl) was opposed to the mission in Afghanistan ,which is a little different then him saying we had no business there at all.

Just forget it ; it does not matter; things will evolve anyway without any of your or my influence; I guess you and I agree that our government loves to get into a mess one way or another. Amen
