On the news Obama travelled to Poland as Santa Claus; he is handing out a Billion (with a B) to help them with war toys and war games he plans there.
Sorry do we have way too much money here? Also I guess this will make McCain very happy as well as his lobby buddies. Sorry to say another huge mistake; Russia certainly will not like this, so some more fuel on the fire to start a new cold war all over again. Hopefully we stop the war in Afghanistan, then we can spent that saved money for our new cold war. Congratulation, what a smart government, just keep the war industry and our warmongers happy.

I guess we will never learn; we handed out millions to Egypt to buy our war toys; see what is the result. So we start all over again, now in Eastern Europe. They certainly do not need our war toys; what they need is infrastructure, modernization of their industry, housing, better resources use, technology etc. A country which has been a long time in the Eastblock needs a lot of help to get out of the "50's culture. Just ask Germany on how long it took to incorporate East Germany and bring it to Western standards. What Obama is doing is absolute ignorant and provokes the Russians in a big way. So the Billion would have been better spent on infrastructure; the people there would have been thankfull.

Thank God, we didn't need that Billion dollars here in the US of A. Than God our schools systems are all self-sufficient, and our very own infra-structure of roads and bridges are all rock solid, and lets not forget our low- unemployment numbers and our soaring economy, sure glad we found a useful purpose for that 1 billion dollars we had just laying around wondering as to how best to spend it.

It's always good to have less pollution in the air, but since we can't control the global wind patterns and the other world polluters don't give a damn, so what are we supposed to with a Band-Aid over an open wound, are we that beholden to these other Nations that we cut our own nose to spite our face, and we continue to trade /buy items from these countries on whose own economies rests with their own polluting industry making us far less competitive in the world market, which affects our own economy.

On the news; Merkel ( Germany) does not agree with the billion dollar hand out of Obama in Poland; there is already a lot of contraversy brewing within the EU; they feel the US is meddling way too much in their region, more or less as acting on their own. Again this shows our arrogance, which will at a certain time backfire. On the face they will smile at Obama; but it is fake.

Merkel is probably still pissed off that the NSA was tapping her phone, and who could blame her?

While Obama is over there, somebody should tell him that Crimea is now part of Russia. He still doesn't get it.
