The Kentucky Derby, also known as crazy hat day, is set to be run at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY this Saturday and the field is shaping up to be one of the most hotly contested in years. While horse racing's popularity has dramatically dropped in the past decade, 'The Derby' always seems to bring together people of all stripes to watch the two kilometer race.

There is also a female jockey who has a strong chance of taking the crown this year, which would be a first for the traditionally male dominated sport. Rosie Napravnik finished ninth in the Kentucky Derby last year and roared to a third place finish in the 2013 Preakness Stakes. It would be wonderful to see a female take the crown, but she definitely has her work cut out for her.

Do we have any avid horse racing fans on the site? What are your odds for this years race? If you are a more traditional viewer, what are you planning to do for the race tomorrow?
