The wise choice would be for all of America to stay out of Georgia, including sports and businesses and conference groups. Although, the NRA will love the singular exposure.

Georgia just replaced the number one state as "Arm-Pit of America".
I guess when Dutch and I take that "East Coast road trip together" we'll have to rent a pickup truck and find a NRA bumper sticker and a Jesus Saves decal for the rear window (right underneath the gun rack) if we ever hope to get through Georgia. A full tank of gas and stomach probably wouldn't hurt either.
Wow, Pgr give me sometime to grow a beard and sow a robe and let my thinning hair grow out, so I can go as "jesus"; we should paste a lot of those outlined "fish" church things on the back of the old truck, as well have a load of home brew to hand out just in case; make sure all the guns and my AK47 are fully loaded and have a reserve of about 50 clips at least. I sure like to visit a Georgian Baptist church holding the AK47 as a walking cane. They would love us and adopt us; all our worldly problems will then be solved.!!

I moved from NY to GA 28 years ago. I like it here in Athens. But, this state has lots and lots of problems. But, its love affair with guns is close to slavery in shaming the state.

Guns everywhere in GA is just an invitation to gun violence. Shame on GA!

I hate guns --- period. I think GA and the US would be better places to live if there were fewer guns.

I blame the NRA for the proliferation of guns in the US. The NRA represents the gun manufacturers (the people who make $$$$ from the sales of guns.

And, shamefully, the GOP is aligned with the NRA. The GOP stands for gun sales!!!!!!! in order to serve the NRA and the GOP.

Always remember that all discussions RE guns matter first and only about $$$$$ for the NRA.

Yes you are right. I have shared this description before in this website of how money from the gun manufactures finds its way through the NRA to ALEC to fund gun friendly legislation like the Stand Your Ground Laws.

    Blood for Money

The NRA is just the middle man to keep the publicity away from the gun profiteers. Every time there's a catastrophe like Sandy Hook, gun sales sky rocket as the gun profiteers push the idea through the NRA that "Obama's going to take your guns away". It works every time there is a shooting and mass casualties. The more mass shootings, the more profit.

The Second Amendment will be repealed when the cold, dead fingers of the politicians are pried from the money given to them by the lobbyists.

    In other words...never.
