    eternal flame :

Both Gennifer Flowers and Paula Jones appeared nude in Penthouse, a publication that is a few shades lower in class than Playboy.

As a result of Jones' pictures in Penthouse, ultra conservative wacko Ann Coulter described her as "trailer park trash".

Gennifer Flowers apparently DID have a one time encounter with Bill Clinton, and she made a net profit of $500,000 by selling her story to Penthouse and other publications.

Sh'e gonna get fed up with the system and leave with ulcers. I don't think she's dumb enough to actually believe that she could change this monster as a rookie Senator.....She'll get fed up and hopefully start a non-profit and try to do some good. She's wasting her time if she believes she can beat these clowns.

Even in her speeches the frustration shows. Sometimes she looks bewildered.....in shock like the rest of us. Politics won't be good to her. Unless she joins the team......Hilliary did and look how successful she is.

L.A. you've learned to look through these things correctly; my feelings exactly; I've worked in Washington and you have to belong to the "in" crowd to succeed; it is very difficult to pass the screening, if you are an outsider; you 've to throw around some "dough" as well and get "invited" to their unpublished parties.

doubt warren will run. she would be good imo but we may be better off with her as a thorn in the rep's side in the senate.

I will go on record as saying i don't want hillary as president. I have seen nothing that makes me think she won't be a center-rightist like her husband and that she won't be beholden to the f.i.r.e. sector. the former "girl" of Sam Walton and former Goldwater girl doesn't inspire me to think she won't be business as usual.

Yes,you are right; Hilary thinks she a "Queen" sits on a high horse and was "broke" but earns $300k just for blabbing some high horse nonsense; fits in perfectly in Washington and knows the in's and out's perfectly; so if she is elected Washington will continue in its old ways.

Elizabeth Warren spoke at an AFL-CIO meeting today in Washington, D.C.

Although it's 23 minutes long , it's definitely worth watching.

If everyone in America watched this video, the Republican Party would be out of business by the end of the week.

    President???? C'mon

She'd make a great Treasury secratary or maybe head of the Trade Commission.....simply because you like her (As do I) doesn't make her even remotely qualified for the Presidency

As much as I love her, she would get chewed up and spit out by both parties. She has no chance in Heck!

Like I said many times; you may as well put Micky Mouse in the White House; this country is run by others; the president is just a "tool" for the one's who manipulate everything in this country. Very well suited to hand out medals and give speeches, just like a king or queen.

Until there is something like 9/11. Then the azzhats in congress will demand "action" as will "we the people". said action translates into bombing someone someplace and the position of president supplies the appropriate cover for armchair radical generals and exceptionalists.

The same applies re: the economy or anything else that is complex and unwieldy. The job has become too big for one person even with advisors. Even the non-elected elites who pull strings require a person in that job and said person must at least appear competent. The increase in complexity has created a situation where no one can be competent to be president on all issues or even the majority of them.

    pgr,
Your are absolutely correct. 150 %. Yes many love her but they have to face the facts. She doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell. I agree it would be great to see her in a cabinet position. Something to be very proud of.
    Pres................NO WAY !

Although Elizabeth Warren is definitely NOT running for President, it's also comforting to know that she is actually the most effective right where she is - in the Senate. On Monday of this week, she absolutely BLASTED the Republicans for their plan to ELIMINATE health care coverage for millions of women. .As you're aware by now, the Democrats killed the Republican plan to eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood, by a vote of 53-46. Voting was largely along party lines.

The only senators to cross party lines were Democrats Joe Donnelly of Indiana and Joe Manchin of West Virginia, and Illinois Republican Mark Kirk, who faces a tough re-election fight next year. McConnell joined Democrats in voting to block the bill, a procedural move that allows him to force a fresh vote later. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., a presidential candidate, was in New Hampshire and missed the vote.

It's worthwhile to watch her video in its entirely:

Elizabeth Warren's conversation with the OCC chair popped up today:

If you have time to watch them, you may also want to watch her confrontation with the Wells Fargo CEO:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyVr4qcn8EM

Just for grins, you should also watch her conversation with Jerome Powell:

Yes, I know that it is still too early to pick a favorite, but since Ms. Warren is TIED with Joe Biden and Bernie in the polls, she has a decent chance of becoming the nominee.

Since she was a debate champion in high school, a debate between her and Trump would be hysterical.

Since Massachusetts is a reliably blue state, her senate seat would likely be captured by another Democrat, possibly Joe Kennedy.

At this point, she is my first choice for president.

4 years ago, she criticized the GOP plan to eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood (see the clip in the link in my previous post) and they finally succeeded because of the "gag rule".

If anyone is going to "kick ass and take names", it's Elizabeth Warren, the daughter of a janitor.

Warren is an dynamic person and has the right personality. However her "lack" of international knowledge may hamper her. As long as this country does not change the "system" she will be confronted with the same "shit" as any future President, because of the convoluted antique lawyer run system which is obsolete. So if she uses the same powers as Trump does as an "dictator", let the fun start. Even if she means well, like Obama did, she will make little progress because the GOP makes sure to "block" everything she wants. Thus my opinion is, if nothing is done to curb the powers of Presidents and clean up our laws, then in no time we are back in the same situation as now. An "base law" should always be up to date with the situation at present. (and not just "fixed" with case laws as an band-aid) Interpretations by an zillion partisan lawyers means our laws are full of "'loopholes" thus don't fit the times. Amen
