A fifteen year old phenom has led the Russian women's figure skating team to gold in the team short program after a near perfect performance in front of her home country crowd. Julia Lipnitskaia is the youngest figure skater to ever win an Olympic gold medal, besting the former youngest gold medal winner by 6 days.

It is absolutely amazing that a person as young as 15 is an Olympic champion. It is a feat that countless athletes have fought to achieve, but never come close to. The fact that she is only 15 and a gold medal winner is truly astounding.

Did anyone watch her nail her performance that helped earn her team the gold? What did you think of it?
