    RanmaMOJ,
I see you are from Colorado, where pot is legal supposedly. My dare, "try to open a hemp paper producing business or hemp close business." What will happen, you will be in a Federal Prison before you can say "but I thought it was legal."

Pretty sad, the Feds will let you fly high on pot but will lock you in prison if you duplicate the paper our constitution is written on. What good is our constitution or Colorado's legal pot, when you don't dare use pot for something really good?

Actually, I probably could, if I didn't try to ship the hemp paper outside Colorado. Not sure on the exact laws there. The law in Colorado allows for recreational use of pot, so there is a difference there...

I wish I was there to try and open one and have the Feds arrest me, then everyone would know why pot has been illegal for so long and why it is considered a schedule 1 drug, the worst of worst. Because of paper made from wood, pot was made illegal in the Feds eyes long ago, and today the cotton industry lobbies hard to keep pot illegal. Why? Because pot makes better paper with way less pollution than wood, hemp was being used in nearly half our paper at one time and would be used for all our paper now, but that reality ended with the schedule 1 drug Fed bull crap law, giving the wood paper industry nearly twice it's sales for all the lobby money they spent to make pot so bad. Pot also makes better quality close, ten times stronger than cotton for cheaper, but this better close are no threat to cotton at present, and I don't see it changing ever, at least not in my life time, unless the majority takes control of the system, we won't see hemp paper or close in any state, not even your state RanmaMOJ, Mark my words.

Ranma doesn't get it.....I spent 10 years, 4 months in a federal penitentiary for drug trafficking. I believe that I'm an expert in federal drug statutes.

As I said on another thread...... I would think that by now we are importing all of our paper products from China or third world nations.

Living near the Fox Valley in WI, I can tell you for a fact, no we do not import all our paper from China. The wood paper mills make lots of money in the Fox Valley, they also make a lot of pollution you can smell in the air and taste in the fish if you were dumb enough to eat one. Yes hemp paper would of stopped all that money and all that pollution too, I'll take less rich and no pollution any day, but NOT the system that owns us and puts pot down in the books as a schedule 1 drug. I for one am sick of being owned by morons who only think of more money for the lobby system. Tax cuts for the rich and China job creators, who in their right minds would put up with this as for rulers, oh I forgot, us.

Sad you are not alone, in a nation that locks up more than any other, crazy we say we are number one, number one in getting screwed by our government and the current system that runs it. Prison makes the system richer, "lock em up" and welcome to current America dumb asses!
