The Super Bowl that was supposed to be a game of the ages turned out to be anything but. The Seattle Seahawks took control of the game with a safety only seconds into the game and didn't look back.

Peyton Manning couldn't get anything going and looked like an amateur quarterback compared to Russell Wilson, who once attended a quarterback camp that Peyton manning held during Wilson's teenage years. I'm sure Manning is beating himself over the head for teaching Wilson all of his tricks after tonight's game.

What does everyone think about tonight's game? Are you disappointed that it was not even close? Personally, I am disappointed that it was such a boring game. I say that because I'm a Chicago Bears fan, but I do congratulate the Seahawks for an awesome win. They definitely earned it.

Yeah, I'm a Bronco's fan (still willing to admit that...) and I found the game embarrassing. I expect that there will be big changes in the Bronco's, beginning with the head coach. After the first half Manning should have come out and thrown long and taken some risks. The may still have lost, but it likely would have been the rout that it was. I blame the coaching staff for that, but then again I don't know what was said on the sidelines or in the locker room, and I don't know who made the calls on the plays, just that (from my limited understanding) the coach calls the plays and the QB executes them to the best of his ability. Great job to the Seahawks (don't tell PETA about their team mascot though) and to Pat Bowlen (owner of the Bronco's), get rid of Fox.

One 'bad call' (really lack of call) that I saw during the game was after a tackle when one of the Seahawks was getting up (the play was over) he shoved a Bronco's player's head down in the ground. I would have called Unsportsmanlike Conduct on that, but I'll give the ref's the benefit of a doubt and say they didn't see it. Otherwise I can't really argue with any of their calls.

Seattle had 346 yards of total offense versus a respectable 306 for Denver. The difference was the Broncos four turnovers versus none for Seattle. Three of those turnovers led to touchdowns and the Bronco's failed onside kick led to another Seattle score.

Take those points away and the score would have been much closer. Still Seattle's game is their defense, and it wasn't just bad luck on the Bronco's part that those turnovers occurred. That's the game that Seattle played all year, in the play-offs and in the Super Bowl. They won by playing their game and taking the Broncos out of their game with those turnovers and failed 4th down attempts.

Schmidt, that about sums it up. Congratulations to the Seahawks and their great win over what was a damn good offense.

I don't know what game any of you watched....The Broncos got smashed on all fronts. offense, defense, special teams...Embarrassing. Seattle whooped them. Denver has no excuse.

They couldn't tackle, block, run, pass................nothing!!! That is a whooopin

You are right about Seattle winning on special teams and defense. All I'm saying is that if you look at the statistics on offensive yards and time of possession, there isn't much difference. Manning's 34 pass completions was a Super Bowl record.

But if you add in the defensive gems...4 turnovers versus none for the Broncos, Broncos going 0-3 on 4th down, failed onside kick, and a safety, this is what decided the game. Seattle defense. Defense is their game and they are the very best at it. The best defense beat the best offense.

Many blame manning....not at all his fault. The entire team at every position got whooped. Hey, maybe their cheer leaders were better, or they bake better brownies......because surely there was no question who the better team is.

In fact, GB, NO, and SF were better football teams than the BRONCOS....the NFC had power house teams this year
