RT maybe. The Russian propaganda network not unlike VOA, except Larry (fine American he is) King works for them instead of US! I wonder how many dopes in this country actually know what RT is an abbreviation for? Not many I'll bet!

    pgr ..

    well. I'll be darned .....

you've come up with some facts that certainly aren't well known ..

    here's the link to RT

    http://rt.com/

and here's the info on Larry King

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_King

very interesting bio (even apart from his 8 wives) ..

If Joseph McCarthy were still alive today, he'd go nuts, in part because King is an atheist ...

Whatever you do, don't say anything to his modern day counterpart (pictured on the right):

Christmas was outlawed in America until around 1820 by the Christians. Or I should say the puritan Christians. Christmas’s infusion into American society came in with the Irish immigrants who were predominantly Catholic- Catholics were responsible for successfully turning Saturnalia into Christ’s Mass (Christmas) after failing to end pagan celebrations (and sacrifices) which would also include Easter. Where I live there is still many in the woods that refuse to accept Christmas for this very reason, they claim that for a Christian to celebrate a “Christianized” pagan holiday is in direct violation to scripture. That is actually how separatists and puritans in the 1600’s viewed it according to my readings from that period. It wasn’t all fun and games, it was riotous and intoxicating…. Think Black Friday for 12 days!

Today’s Christmas, from Santa Claus etc, is really the combination of everyone’s religion in the world in to one giant Americanized holiday. Modernized during the Civil War, and sealed into the fabric of American culture by World War II, with some help from Coca Cola. Santa was not a white guy he was an elf. I’m not sure what color of skin an elf is… bluish? Smurf? PAPA SMURF! What a minute. Papa Smurf IS Santa Claus!

And Santa is now in red.... RT red maybe? hmmmmm.

pr Wrote: But, but, but what about the flying saucers that were observed at the very moment of his birth? I seem to remember watching a show on this very"happening"on the Alien Network (I believe), plus something about all flying saucers be required to have a plastic Jesus mounted on their control panels for protection from S A T A N.
Like I said in one of my other "threads" X-Mas must be one of the most screwed up festivities there is. For instance I doubt that at the time Jesus was born that they had X-Mas trees, colored shiny balls and X-Mas lights, let alone in the middle east, reindeer's and a Santa sitting on top of a minaret.

So I guess us "westeners" made a huge mess of dragging in all kinds of pagan things; may be this year I combine all of it and also give my Easter bunny a Santa hat and color our X-Mas eggs. Anyway the X-Mas "baby" would die laughing if he saw all the things people are doing right now.

Dutch the same thing screwed up Christmas that has screwed up so many other things.

    MONEY.

Christmas has been ruined ever since retailers found out that they could make more money by commercializing it, Wal Mart-izing it, extending it, over hyping it...they even invented an unofficial holiday: Black Friday. Now there's not only Black Friday, but Small business Saturday, Cyber Monday, something called Green day, and who knows what is next? I don't know if Green is for the environment or for the money, I think it is the money.

Money and greed have ruined politics, medicine, government, health care, big business, small business, unions, non-union labor, manufacturing...just about anything you can name, money has ruined it.

Whadabout sex, drugs & rock & roll? Has money ruined them also? Just wondering as I'm too old to enjoy any of them anymore and I'm starting to wonder if I'm missing anything!

i do like his religious views but I find him somewhat of a bore (sorta like Paul Harvey was, remember that idiot?)!

i don't even have any problems with RT. Comcast doesn't carry it ( or I don't pay for it) but what bothers me is the name RT - why not call it what RT stands for - "Russia Today"?
