Republican Political Candidate
"Sometimes I can't believe the things you say, Tom. So let's talk about the specifics." That was a response by current Governor Dannel Malloy to his running mate (R) Tom Foley, during their CBA debate to decide the next governor for Connecticut. And I think that line sums up well the feel of this gubernatorial race.

The Washington discovered that the Perry family owns a ranch that locals call 'Niggerhead.' The name is carved into a rock at the entrance to the property and was painted over in 1980's when the Perry family began to lease it. Perry responded to the revelation by saying its an "offensive name that has no place in the modern world." Both Cain and Romney said criticized the name calling 'insensitive.' In response, Cain was accused of playing the race card by his fellow Republicans, some going as far as saying that until now Cain's "big appeal is that he's not just another black race-card-playing politician." Citing internal financial documents, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that a Wisconsin tax-exempt charity called Prosperity USA footed the bill for about $40,000 worth of iPads, chartered airplanes and other expenses as Cain’s campaign got off the ground early this year 2011. Politico reported that two female employees had complained about inappropriate behavior by Cain during his tenure at the National Restaurant Association (1996-mid 1999). The women reportedly accepted financial settlements from the association which barred them from discussing their allegations further. Cain's campaign initially refused comment, but subsequently acknowledged that the accusations had been made. Cain strongly denied any impropriety, stating: "I have never sexually harassed anyone and those accusations are totally false."
"Okay, Libya... President Obama supported... the uprising, correct? President Obama called for the removal of... Gaddafi. Just wanted to make sure we're talking about the same thing before I say, 'Yes, I agreed. No, I didn't agree.' Umm... I do not agree with the way he handled it for the following reason,... nope, that's a, that's a different one. Umm.... I gotta go back, let's see... I got all this stuff twirling around in my head."
[Obama's] never been a part of the black experience in America. I can talk about that.
"If we had been on 'Obamacare' and a bureaucrat was trying to tell me when I could get that CAT scan, that would have delayed my treatment."
"This is the worst jobs recovery since the Great Depression."
