Overview of Law

Expands the Americorps number of community volunteers from 75,000 positions to 250,000 by 2017 and creates four new service corps focused on education, health care, energy and veterans to address key needs in low income communities. Volunteers receive experience, education rewards and subsidies in return for their service.
