Republican Study Committee member Tom Rooney is circulating a letter calling out committee chairman Jim Jordan and accusing the group of threatening “not only the future of the RSC itself, but that of our hard fought majority.” The RSC has become a very powerful internal Republican caucus with upwards of 170 members, but the incident revealed deep divisions within the GOP and frayed nerves within the House majority. Jordan has not responded.
