Assistant Attorney Andrew Shirvell started a blog in 2010 openly harassing Chris Armstrong ,a gay college student from University of Michigan. Shirvell was banned from the University of Michigan campus on 09/14,2010, but the ban was modified in November 2010 to prohibit only physical or verbal contact with Chris Armstrong. Shirvell was fired from the position of Assistant Attorney General on 11/8/2010 for having "repeatedly violated office policies, engaged in borderline stalking behavior, and [having] inappropriately used state resources."
