What a great piece. Thanks for sharing. The parallels between these two individuals is striking.

I will have to stop by my local used movie store and see if it is available. Netflix unfortunately doesn't offer it.

I was very conflicted after watching American Sniper. On one hand, I thought it was a decent movie that attempted to show the trials and tribulations of someone who served their country when called to and did so admirably. On the other hand, I just had a hard time getting over the many times Eastwood seemingly rewrote facts so they could fit into his story line better.

Fact is always more interesting than fiction and Chris Kyle's story in and of itself is an incredibly interesting story. I just wish Eastwood stuck to that instead of embellishing things to sell more tickets.
