Republican Political Candidate
"Sometimes I can't believe the things you say, Tom. So let's talk about the specifics." That was a response by current Governor Dannel Malloy to his running mate (R) Tom Foley, during their CBA debate to decide the next governor for Connecticut. And I think that line sums up well the feel of this gubernatorial race.

Christine O'Donnell ends an interview with Piers Morgan after he asks questions regarding gay rights. Christine O'Donnell is being investigated for misusing political funds from a previous campaign. It seems that O'Donnell was using campaign donations for rent and other personal expenses, while leaving her campaign employees unpaid and accruing thousands of dollars of debt.
"Despite her commitment to avoid national media attention, Christine ODonnell is still managing to make headlines. Her latest controversy revolves around her LinkedIn profile: ODonnell lists the venerable University of Oxford under her Education section a claim that the Washington Post points out is false. She was never enrolled at the school, she took as summer seminar from another school there."
"O'Donnell filed false financial reports and is deeply in debt.As Ms. O'Donnell's former staff members reported, she used tens of thousands of dollars from her campaign to finance her personal life. For example, in March and April 2009, Ms. O'Donnell paid her rent out of her campaign account, but called the payments expense reimbursements. She also claimed other personal expenses, such as meals, gas and even a bowling outing, were campaign related."
"Another university is bringing Christine O'Donnell's self-professed education history into question Wednesday, as Claremont Graduate University, a school that the Delaware Senate candidate claims she attended, has told Talking Points Memo that they have no record of her being there."
