The draft board and stage pre draft, June 28, 2006By: bikeride
Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker, Joel Embiid, Lebron James, Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic and pre-draft trading. These are arguably the biggest entities that make up the drama that will be the first several picks of the 2014 NBA Draft.

Wiggins is largely expected to go #1. Parker might upset that order though. Embiid broke his foot a few weeks ago, and everyone is scrambling to change their potential draft order because of it. The Cavs are flip-flopping all over the place, trying to decide just what to do with yet another first round, number 1 pick. The Magic effectively traded themselves out of landing a big trade that would get them the number 1 spot from Cleveland. And lastly Lebron just announced a week ago that he is entering the free agency, causing even more of a scramble with teams thinking, maybe, just maybe we can land the best player in the league!

TRADE UPDATES (during the draft):

**Here is the trade: Orlando sends rights to Dario Saric and will return Sixers pick in '15 and a 2nd in '15 for rights for Elfrid Payton.

**Chicago traded their 16th and 19th picks to Denver.

** Heat will trade No. 26, No. 55 and a future 2nd to the Hornets for Shabazz Napier.

**Commissioner Adam Silver honoring Isaiah Austin with a ceremonial draft pick between the 15th and 16th round. Just over a week ago, the sophomore center from Baylor was diagnosed with Marfan syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects the heart. It ended his playing career.

**Bruno Caboclo going to the Raptors on the 20th pick. Main reaction from almost everyone was WHO?!? The Brazilian ballplayer went ahead of dozens of very talented and sought after US college players. Was a great surprise to everyone, especially him.
