'Today' show co-host Savannah Guthrie (42) dropped a couple of pieces of personal information about herself on Monday's show: she got married over the weekend and she is four months pregnant.
Savannah has been engaged to Mike Feldman since May of 2013, after dating for about four years prior to that. Guthrie and Feldman tied the knot in her hometown of Tucson, Arizona over the weekend. The ceremony was held in secrecy, with a small attendance. The 'Today Show' cast was invited, providing they keep it quiet until she was ready to tell everyone, which they all did. Al Roker, Matt Lauer, Hoda Kotb and Willie Geist, along with NBC News reporter Chuck Todd were all in the weekend wedding.
She also revealed the fact that she is in fact four months pregnant, and is expecting "in late summer" of this year. Apparently, there were a few audience members that have commented via twitter on her slight but noticeable weight gain. She laughed off the comments, admitting that they were right.
Savannah on keeping the pregnancy a secret: "
We set the wedding date, I bought my dress, and then I found out. So I did a little praying. … I feel great, and actually I'm so happy to tell the world because I can't suck in this gut anymore
