Bill O'Reilly was accused of sexual harassment by at least five women and has settled five sexual harassment lawsuits out of court totaling $13 million. The lawsuits span a decade, but two of the accusations came to light in lawsuits against Fox News CEO Roger Ailes. Update: 21st Century Fox fired Bill O'Reilly effective immediately. Donald Trump praised Bill O'Reilly and said that he doesn't " think Bill did anything wrong" one day after it was reported that Bill O'Reilly and Fox News reached a $13 million dollar settlement with five women who accused O'Reilly of sexual harassment and intimidation. The lawsuit claimed that O'Reilly “would create a bond with some women by offering advice and promising to help them professionally [and] he then would pursue sexual relationships with them, causing some to fear that if they rebuffed him, their careers would stall.” O'Reilly denied the accusations, but he and Fox News still settled the lawsuit because, in O'Reilly's own words, he is "a father who cares deeply for my children and who would do anything to avoid hurting them in any way. A New York appeals court ruled unanimously in favor of O'Reilly's ex wife Maureen McPhilmy. The court ruled that both children, ages 13 and 17, should live full-time with their mother, based on the fact that the children no longer wanted to live with their father. In an 15-minute interview with Bill O'Reilly, Obama was interrupted over 70 times by O'Reilly. That averages to once every 19 seconds. Such excessive interruptions of the President is extremely rude and unprofessional. O'Reilly was accused of making "disgusting" phone calls and remarks to Andrea Mackris an associate producer on the "The O'Reilly Factor." O'Reilly's alleged remarks included telling Mackris she should use a vibrator and regaling her with tales of threesomes with Swedish stewardesses and stories of his "amazing" endowment. Mackris claims he made three lewd phone calls to her since August in which he described fantasies involving her and sex acts he would perform on her. She said he was clearly pleasuring himself as he spoke.
“These race hustlers make a big living, and they get voted into office, by portraying their constituents as victims. And it’s all your fault, and it’s my fault, it’s the rich people’s fault, and it’s the Republicans’ fault — it’s everybody’s fault except what’s going on. And what’s going on, as you know, is the dissolution of the family, and you don’t have proper supervision of children, and they grow up with no skills, and they can’t read and speak, and they have tattoos on their neck, and they can’t compete in the marketplace, and that’s what’s going on!”
"The O’Reilly haters are pretty much the people that have no idea what I do. And I like that — I mean, I don’t have any problem with people disliking me, and I’ll tell you why. I’m not comparing myself, but who was the most hated person in Judea 2,000 years ago?"
"He's their guy because he's a liberal, African-American, is that why he's their guy?"
"There's got to be some downside to having a woman president, right? Something that may not fit with that office?"
"But this is what gets me about you-- you, Colmes, you--you say no to Hooters but yes to the transgender. Here comes a guy who thinks he’s a girl into the locker room!”
It's getting them [uninsured people] out of the house or the crack house, or where ever they are to get em to sign up [for healthcare].
"You can just kill the baby -- or the fetus -- however you want to describe it, any time you want, for any reason. You know, women's health, that's any reason at all... for any reason, women's health! 'Hey! Look I sprained my hand! I can't, ya know...'"
Statutory rape, obviously, you know, another thing that very under reported [sic] in this country, we don’t want to hear about it. Incest, same thing.
