Al Sharpton - Liberal TV Host
"Real Time" host Bill Maher has had it with how Republicans have a different set of rules when it comes to how they respond to what the President says now that he is a member of their own party, so he brought out Obama impersonator Reggie Brown to read some of Trump's most memorable quotes. What followed is eight minutes of cringe worthy hilarity.
Alec Baldwin debuted his inner Donald Trump in a way only he could during Saturday Night Live's season opener and he did not disappoint. He, along with Kate McKinnon playing the par of Hillary Clinton, relived the first Presidential Debate that showed nearly 100 million viewers that Donald Trump is, in fact, a man baby. (Credit to Jon Stewart for coming up with that description.
Barbara Walters retired in May of 2014 from 'The View', and television hosting in general. Now, 2 of the 3 remaining hosts of 'The View' have been reportedly fired from the lineup, leaving only host Whoopi Goldberg with a job. Sherri Shepherd had been a host on the program for 7 years.
Lawrence O'Donnell recently called into his show one month after a car accident that put him on an extended leave of absence to update his viewers about his ongoing recovery and inform them that he hopes to return to air this June.

|Picture for a moment that you were in a car accident, but luckily survived. Thankful for being able to walk away from such a terrible occurrence, you go searching for help. Knocking on someone's door for assistance, you breathe a sigh of relief knowing that aid will soon be on its way. But instead of a friendly gesture of humanity, you're greeted instead with a gunshot to the face. |When I hear people discuss the civil rights movement, I often pause to listen. No matter how well they may know the history of non-violent marches, Martin Luther King Jr.'s leadership, segregation, police brutality, boycotts, water hoses, bulldogs and more, they often speak of the struggle in a past tense. It's as if the fight for equality is somehow over and Dr. King's dream fully realized.|

|No justice, no peace. In the most devastating and detrimental blow to Americans, the electoral process and our Constitutional right to vote, the Supreme Court has struck down a key provision of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Section 4, which maps the areas that must have pre-clearance from the federal government before making any changes to their voting laws, was ruled 'unconstitutional' in a 5-4 decision today, and the ball was thrown into Congress' court.|
