Rick Perry may have illegally used Texas Government resources just before he kicked off his Presidential Campaign. Phone records show that Perry made numerous calls to donors, business men, and appointees from his Governors office which hints that he may have been campaigning from government phones, which is illegal in the state of Texas. No legal actions have been taken as of yet.

The Washington discovered that the Perry family owns a ranch that locals call 'Niggerhead.' The name is carved into a rock at the entrance to the property and was painted over in 1980's when the Perry family began to lease it. Rick Perry has announced that he will be hosting a "Day of Prayer" at Houston's Reliant Stadium which has brought up many concerns about political leaders organizing religious events. Perry expects to fill the 71,000 seat stadium but only 8,000 people have RSVP'd. This declaration by Perry also could cast a black mark on future campaigns on his stance on separation of church and state.

Driver admitted on August 16, 2010, to taking taxpayer money from the Texas House of Representatives for expenses that had already been reimbursed to him by his own campaign. Essential he was being reimbursed twice for expenses during his campaign, one of those reimbursements coming from the tax-payers. Driver has plead guilty to 3rd degree felony charges and has been fined $5,000 and sentenced to 5 years probation.

In April of 2009, Rick Perry met in front of Tea Party members and brought up that Texas could secede from the union, if it ever wanted to. He said it probably will never come to that, but the way Washington keeps thumbing their nose at the American people, who knows what might happen.

Tom DeLay, a Republican U.S. Representative from Texas from 1979 to 1983 and from 1985 to 2006 and the House Majority Leader from 2003 to 2005, was convicted in 2010 of money laundering and conspiracy charges related to illegal campaign finance activities aimed at helping Republican candidates for Texas state office in the 2002 elections.

At the end of 2007, both the New York Sun and The New York Times Magazine reprinted passages from early 1990s publications of Paul's newsletters, attacking them for content deemed racist. These were the same newsletters that had been used against Paul during his 1996 congressional campaign.

I think every program needs to stand the sunshine of righteous scrutiny. Whether its Social Security, whether its Medicaid, whether its Medicare. Youve got $115 trillion worth of unfunded liability in those three. Theyre bankrupt. Theyre a Ponzi scheme.
