So all the republicans are saying we MUST get this president out of office, it is CRITICAL that we get Obama out of office. Why is the language for this president so Strong and urgent than other presidents in the past, Like W Bush who caused or shall i say allowed ALL the issues we are going through now, is this a RACE issue? Does it take 2 years to turn around 8 years worth of downfall.. REALLY PEOPLE (REPUBLICANS) ARE YOU REALLY THAT IGNORANT TO THINK THAT YOU CAN TURN THE WHOLE OF THE US ECOMOMY AROUND IN JUST 4 YEARS!!!!????? REALLY

Democrats acquired control of both the House and the Senate beginning in January 2007. That is when the downfall really began. Correcting four years of a 2007-2011 Democrat controlled Congress? Yeah, that will take a long time.

Your comments are inappropriate. Wendy asked if this is a race issue? It's the same question that many in the mainstream media are asking when Gingrich talks about a food stamp President and blacks needing to learn how to work. If you cannot see the racial overtones in much of the Republican debates and the right wing media analysis of it, then you are blind to racism. Of course, I understand that Gingrich is playing to the base...the white southern evangelicals for which race is a paramount issue that cannot be hidden under the carpet.

How is what Newt Gingrich said racist? Unless you equate food stamps to black people. and if you do then you are the racist.

First of all, Gingrich did not say that blacks need to learn how to work.He was talking about kids learning to work and develop work ethics. STOP showing your ignorance by yelling the race card and applying it to everything you read on this site. STOP IT!!!!! You sound like a 10 year old who is arguing with another school kid but can't think of anything to say so he yells "your Mother wears combat boots" and your dad is a racist. By the way, how do you know that when it pertains to white evangelicals race is a paramount issue? I'm so sick of this kind of talk. I'm here to discuss issues and ideas and not to entertain some ignorant rants based on no facts.

How do we know that the GOP are fundamentally "racist"? Well,let's see: LET ME COUNT THE WAYS:

At the TEA PARTY gatherings, they prominently carried posters & signs showing Obama in a pygmy tribal African outfit, they carried signs saying he was AFRICAN & not American, they also had posters saying he was Muslim -- & prominent Republican candidates (Gingrich & Trump) insisted he was not even born here. The "false" African background, as though Obama was born & raised in Kenya or some foreign land. But as most of us know, Obama was born in Honolulu Hawaii, that is the 50th State of the USA. He only met his father once, for one month, when he was very young. Obama graduated with honors & became a professor of U.S. Constitutional Law. Do you think he would RUN for President, if it was anything unConstitutional? (Get serious).

It is well-known that the GOP is dominantly involved with the KKK (Ku Klux Klan) which is
an American HATE GROUP, known for lynching, dragging, & terrorizing black people. It has been in existence since the Civil War. KKK is notorious for cross-burnings at their meetings, & at people's houses, to demonstrate that a black person lives there & he should depart. In the old days, they would just burn their house down & lynch them. But don't think that is "racist."

This should not make too much difference, but right-wingers do not seem to notice the TRUTH, that Obama is 1/2 white and 1/2 black. HALF of his entire family, the ones who raised him, & took care of him, & had the most influence on him, were all WHITE. His grandparents & mother were white people who lived in Kansas. All were patriotic Americans, & both his parents had a college education. Obama is one of the most principled, ethical, intelligent, & decent human beings who inhabits our small planet. And every day he has to be harassed & slandered by some stupid right-wingers who do not have even HALF of his intelligence or character. We ought to be heavily checking into the "national origin" of
the likes of Newt Gingrich, or Orley Taits, or Romney - from Mexico?

The gun owners (NRA) contain most all KKK groups as members, & those are heavily mixed & infiltrated with Neo-Nazis. Then the Christian fundamentalists are intertwined with both of the other groups. All 3 groups are openly "racist" against blacks, Muslims, & Jews. We all know that major members like Charlton Heston are right wing Republicans. Who belong to the most radical & openly "racist" groups in America.

Veronica, I was not speaking on behalf of the GOP. I was speaking on behalf of the American people because this racist stuff is a slam against Americans. The people who run around pulling the race card Are Insulting their own intelligence. Rachel Maddow is one that goes on TV and insults her own intelligence by pulling the race card every chance she gets. Its very sad because I have been told she is a very talented, intelligent person and chooses to lower herself in that way. I read an entry earlier on this site. The person said that the race card is pulled on TV because it makes for interesting television. Ok, so whats your reason?

If you are going to drag the Tea Party into your argument then show me proof. Don't just spout off about things unless you can prove it. And oh, by the way, I'm not interested in what the Tea party does and if they do something that's not Kosher they are big enough to handle their own actions.

As far as Obama is concerned, I think the GOP and the rest of the country knows he is half black and half white. That is a non issue with me also. As far as where he was born? Well,I don't care where he was born. Because its a little late now isn't it?

Where do you get your information? The KKK and the NRA? I'm a Christian and I'm not involved in the KKK or the NRA and I'm not a racist or a Neo-nazi. I don't know anyone who is a racist, or a Neo-nazi, or prejudice against Jews and Muslims. Again, where do you get your information?

Look, I came to this forum because we are about to have an election. And its a very important election. I wanted to converse with people about it. I detest this racist stuff. Its stupid and unfounded. I would like it if you could put away all your shallow accusations and have a discussion with me as to why you think Obama should be reelected. That would be nice.

Democratic Hub: I attended a Tea Party Rally on the south lawn of the Capitol in March 2010 just
prior to the vote on the Health Care Bill. My wife was 51 years old at the time
and she was close to the oldest person there. Yes, they were such a wild and
disrespectful group (LOL). Each one a card carrying Racist, including the
African-Americans and the Asian-Americans.
