After researching the exploits of the late Saul Alinsky, President Obama should be honored. This man dedicated his life to helping and assisting the oppressed - the people who were suffering, and those forgotten about. He did this through organizing, with numbers there is strength. Please read up on this man and let the republicans know who he is because they don't have a clue.....

I am not sure to whom to compare Hillary Clinton, but I think the Democratic party would be a lot better off without her. I can't help but think that her re-announcement that she will not stick around if Obama wins again was a stunt she pulled because she knew that,"The Diary of a Secret Campaign Consultant" was about to come out on kindle. She was just making a lot of noise to drown out bad news. She had no other reason to announce it all over again. Anyway, I think she is just getting out so that she can plan one more try at becoming our first woman president.

Hillary Clinton & Barack Obama learned a lot from Saul Alinsky, & his methods were both honorable and effective. His concerns were for elevating the underprivileged in our society to get their fair share of the American dream.
Hillary Clinton's senior honors thesis was written about Saul Alinsky, while she was attending Wellesley College. Several prominent American leaders have been influenced by Alinsky's teachings, & he is often credited with laying the foundation for the grassroots political organizing that dominated the 1960s.[11] Jack Newfield writing in New York magazine included Alinsky among "the purest Avatars of the populist movement."[17]
Biographer Sanford Horwitt has claimed that U.S. President Barack Obama was influenced by Alinsky and followed in his footsteps as a Chicago-based community organizer. Horwitt said that Alinsky's teachings also influenced Obama's 2008 campaign.[18]
NOW FELLOW DEMOCRATS, PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THIS:
As you know, the GOP are fond of ridiculing & persecuting Saul Alinsky, as some kind of an undesireable agitator, a radical rebel who defied common norms. But actually he was always acting in the cause of human dignity, as an instigator for justice.
Adam Brandon, a spokesman for the conservative non-profit FREEDOMWORKS, involved in organizing TEA PARTY protests, says their group gives "Alinsky's Rules for Radicals" to all its top leadership members. A shortened guide called Rules for Patriots is distributed to its entire network. In a January 2012 story in The Wall Street Journal, citing the Tea Party's tactic of sending activists to town-hall meetings, Brandon explained, "Alinsky's tactics when it comes to grass-roots organizing are incredibly effective." Former GOP House Majority Leader Dick Armey also gives copies of Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" to Tea Party leaders.[19]
