Love
Love from the heart goes so many ways
Puppy love so huge in early days
Young hearts are so narrow minded
The biggest goal, another lets find it
Making us feel like our heart is alive
So much effort for love to arrive
Only to be broken in two
such heart pains never knew
No heart can force another’s to stay
learned most times the hard way
A middle aged heart a one much wiser
There is no such thing as a love miser
A heart now opened wide
A soul mate by the side
The old hearts are wiser than all
Having learned from many falls
So much love has come and gone
But one has remained all along
No you can’t look them in the eye
We say I love you and then we cry
From the first time our heart ever had feeling
From a parent in heaven, a love ever lasting
