Hi, I was wondering why YOU don't like Scott Walker, or if you possibly do, and why? I hear some very nasty things that Liberals say about Walker; For example, saying he's worse than Hitler. I personally do not like people comparing a regular guy to one of the biggest pieces of crap the world has seen. It doesn't matter how much you don't like somebody Politically, no one deserves to be treated like that... and to encourage such things is just childish in my opinion. However, I do respect, and listen to the reasoning behind some of the complaints, as long as they are done so peacefully.
So to get to my point, I just wanted to know why you PERSONALLY do not like Scott Walker. Please support your answer with facts, and don't use vulgar language (as the forum rules state). I want this to be as civil as possible!

I don't have anything against Governor Walker personally. I just disagree with his policies. I think that the website,
Top Ten Reasons to Recall Scott Walker
covers most of the bases. But I'll highlight just four that should interest you as a student:
Walker’s budget cut over $800 million from our public schools, while at the same time placing caps on the amount of money school districts in Wisconsin can collect in property taxes to fund their schools.
While he was slashing funding for public schools and health care, Walker gave giant tax breaks to corporations, which added roughly $117 million to Wisconsin’s budget deficit.
Walker stripped most public employees of their right to collectively bargain. Walker’s union-busting bill means that teachers, nurses, prison guards, and other public employees in Wisconsin no longer have a say in their benefits and working conditions.
Walker signed a Voter ID bill that will make it harder to vote for thousands of eligible voters in Wisconsin. The people most affected by the restrictions in the bill include students, the elderly, the poor, and the disabled.
It's not a question of liking or disliking an individual. I have Republican friends and relatives that I like, but I would never vote for them, and I would fight hard against their policies in any electoral debate. And if any crossed the voters as Walker did, then I would be supporting their recall.
That's democracy. Hope you find some issues that interest you in this website. And pay attention to both sides of the issues and keep an open mind. While you have every right to support Walker and express your opinions, just make sure that you have critically examined the reasons for your views.

I found "Top Ten Reasons to Recall Scott Walker" to be very interesting reading, and have forwarded it on to our friends in Wisconsin (where we lived in the 1980's).
I also found another website this morning that provides a lot of very good background material about Scott Walker's campaign, as well as other elections around the county:
www.prwatch.org/news/2011/02/9964/cmd-special-report-scott-walker-runs-koch-money
If you look at the background of Lisa Graves, I think you'll conclude that her opinion is more valuable than the opinions of Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, or Fox News.
I published my own thoughts about Governor Walker on March 6:
